Some year ago when I was around 19, I was in my mummy's shop packing goods outside. Her shop is in front of our compound, so one brother Joseph opposite my house called me to bring tin tomato. So I took the tin tomato and raced to his room upstairs.

My dear, the change starts with those guys. Dressing decently and in meaningful discussions will not stop those guys.

I for one always dress decently and I never encourage sexual talks from casual gud friends. But I've had a guy molest me in a taxi. I'm a very calm person by nature. For some reason, I was embarrassed to shout. I shudder to think of what would have happened if both of us were in his house alone.

Oga. I would blame them over and over again within the context I discussed. Let me state it clearly that I was talking about a situation where a lady gets raped by her friend or lover. Not paedophiles. Not psychos who rape old women.

I believe that is the context within which the topic was created. Address the root and don't wait for the damage to be done. The OP suggested a drastic measure which would be to shun visits altogether. I have rather attacked the triggers which ladies knowingly deploy when they go visiting.

Why do these ladies dress so scantily and alluringly? Simple. To look "attractive", "sexually appealing", etc. Why then would they go ahead to engage in forèplay? Ultimately, why should they be absolved of all blame when their dressing and actions begin to fructify?

They must share in the blame because measures could have been taken earlier to avoid rape.
