However, the above statement is in sharp contrast with Buhari comment/promise when he was running for the same office of the President in 2011 under CPC. In fact, he made it categorically that he will probe from the 1999 administration. In his own words;

You don't prosecute on Nairaland or by submitting materials handed to you by your sponsors. Commercial posters like Barcanistar most times loose direction. Amaechi is hated by the immediate past administration, if they had concrete evidence, I don't see why they didn't let the world know rather than buying airtime to vilify the opposition on AIT.
