Am so surprised. What happened to you?
You would be amazed what a chronic bear can do. Last week, I was seeing double because of the current bear. This week, oga Agba don become Agbero because of the same bear. Only God knows who is next to display here..9free, feelamong or Jamace even? cheesy

This market is really tricky.
Can't believe what I am seeing.
If this is correct; total offer of about 500 million (over 50 million available) offer for Access with no bid as at 12.25 hrs.
Seems like massive dumping to me.
Does anyone have any info we do not know about?
Are we getting less than expected performance in their H1 results?

Recently MTN launched an innovative idea that will surely will bring smiles to the faces of lot of Nigeria young entrepreneurs. This innovative idea is the launch of an affordable advertising platform called "CallerFeel".

What is MTN CallerFeel?

CallerFeel according to MTN is a status message that will appear to everyone that calls your line when you subscribe to the service in addition is a service that allows you express yourself through short messages that will appear on your callers phone screen when they call your line. The message will appear as a pop-up notification.

I just stumble upon information about illegal share dealings involving former and present access CEO and James ibori and Lucky former governor of Edo state.

If Mr Buhari is very resolute about anti corruption war, I wonder if access bank will escape the hammer.

Any body with any useful info about this?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stokfrick: 1:03pm On Aug 14, 2015
psycologically, short term traders like some of us here have been programmed to do short term jijo which is only viable during bull or sideways period and as such are being forced 2 develope d quality of patience, a rare virtue. For medium to long term investors, bearish periods such as these r seen as answers to their prayers as these r opportunities for them to make money cos all they need do is just invest more to average down.

Sir, bear sometimes makes us think the unthinkable. If we were to start anti-corruption war within the banking industry, none of them will be saint. So, sir, don't stressed about all these rumor. The bear are in control as Sir Born stated grin

The current bear is good for long term investors. It may be time to start building a long term portfolio or adding to an existing one if the stocks are trading at a discount to your initial entry. Most stocks are already trading close to or lower than their 5-year lows. For JIJO masters who are already on a loss, next time please don't try to be smart by trading in a bearish market. It favours only a few smart ones who don't mix emotions with investment. Never average down or add to a losing trade. How do you know the market will not continue to go down? Imagine averaging down a second time, and then a third time, and so on... until you're short of funds. It is tempting to buy stocks at cheaper prices but this is only recommended for long positions, not a losing JIJO position. We should learn to ALWAYS establish a stop-loss with any particular trade or have a target price at which you must sell should the market move against you. If you're stopped out and the stock price resumes an uptrend instead, no problem, let it go. What if the opposite had happened and there was a continued downtrend? If you apply stop-loss strategy you have no business with the risk associated with averaging down. If you must average down, wait until there is a clear direction in the market and prices start moving up then start accumulating. If you choose to do this, don't wait until you start making profit before you sell as the price may never get to your breakeven point before profit taking kicks in. If you have considerably reduced your losses you may sell just when the trade is about to change direction. This is just my opinion ooo. I am patiently waiting for ASI to hit 27,585 before I start to dance shoki. I wish everyone quick recovery.

Stocks and its investors are not in happy condition at all, anyway that is business for you, nothing good comes easy. Nigeria is on the process of reconstruction, so therefore everything is reconstructing, I foresaw it when I was busy shouting that market is going down, thank God I pulled out on time. When we get the true state of our Nation State, Nigeria stock will gradually move up small small again, that should be December this year / January next year. The good news is that Nigeria stock will be strong again by next year.
