olorieka: @olorieka yes i already have a visa i applied sometimes around April this year and i was given 2years.I wasn't preg then. The VO asked me if i was planning to go medicals i said no that i was going for vac with my family. Then i haven't discovered NL So what i intend doing is to write a letter to the embassy but by that time i would have made up my mind on the hospital and Dr and probably make a part payment. I just have two hospitals on my mind for now which are Oakbend and west houston. Accommodation pampered stay or soul con for now. What about you?. Regards |

I guess it depends on the hospital, I used Providence Hospital in Washington Dc and all my bills came as one, epidural and all, they even deducted plus my daughters bill, in fact they have what they call international program where you deposit 12k dollars before they attend to you, in all I got a refund of about 1k dollar, so I guess its close to what drafrican's bill looks like. Drafrican try to request for a return ticket for your child, it comes cheaper than one way, I used airfrance back they initial bill was around 300, and I was to pay at the airport, but the lady was nice to mention to me that it will be less if she does return. You could try that out too. koko83: |

The Lord will ordain your footsteps to the right person(VO) and will speak through you.Just be claim, truthful. I believe you have read the thread very well to Learn from other people's experience and you will come back here to share yours too. Thanks for the piece of inform from the hospital i am yet to contact any of the hospitals its only accommodation that am looking at now. chenonye: Its not a hospital dear. Its a birth center and ur delivery is handled by midwives. Only for low risk pregnancies. And yes d fee is all inclusive |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by dsaynt: 10:35pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
drafrican: The infant ticket is a percentage of your own ticket price so that $300 is about the right price from my calculations. It usually ranges between $250- $350. BA fees is usually high. But place a call to their customer service center and see how much a return ticket for the infant would cost. Who knows it might be cheaper as someone suggested. If you call and they give you a price you can hang up, call again and you'd get a different operator who can give you another price to compare with. I say this cos some of the operators are not very knowledgeable. So its like getting a 2nd quote. Lol. |

hi guys i hope you will be able to help a sister here. I've been diagnosed with a low lying placenta hence, preventive c-section for me at 37 weeks. problem here is i'm at risk of hemorrhage at any point in the third trimester and God forbid, if it happens before 37 weeks, the baby would be premature and would need extra care. do you guys have any idea how much it could cost ? Is there any way to get a package paiement that would cover this eventuality? We already have EU citizenship but really wanted to give more options to our L.O. Now we're really wondering if it's worth the risk Thanks for any help/advice you could give ! |
