Thanks so much montrealer

will reapply against winter 2016

montrealer:
It's either you apply alone & then apply for your husband and son later or you get a co-sponsor.

The funds you stated are insufficient to convince the VO. You need a more buoyant SOA to pull off a successful application for your son & yourself.

Things VO takes into consideration include: his childcare fees, clothing & supplies, in addition to your tuition, room & board. Also, there has to be a buffer (about 20-30%) of your total SOA left for your husband's upkeep. After calculating all your needs.

Sorry about the delays but it can be remedied.

For guys in Canada or have an idea about this.

Applying for TRV extension from inside Canada.
Does proposed program need to be a progression from previous academic program.

Can a PGC holder apply for TRV extension to study advanced diploma?

Well the following can help in processing your cms request;
Canadian resident
Permanent resident
And others in canada........*
My interpretation which is limited puts one with study permit on the third category.....which means yes, they can.
Gurus pls dismiss or authenticate this
I lay down to be corrected

Is it compulsory to pay your tuition before you're allowed entry into Canada?

Has anyone here scaled through?

at the POE a Ghanaian guy had a lil though time with the immigration officer cos he didn't pay tuition deposit but he was able to prove the school asked them to pay on arrival
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 8:22pm On Aug 25, 2015
It's related.
Civil engineering-------construction management

A friend just received his TRV, his program is to start by January 2016, what is the earliest possible time for him to travel? Can he travel by next month?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Akin26: 7:58am On Aug 26, 2015
Good morning house. Today make it 8 weeks and two days have submitted my application for September resumption. Up till this morning the application is still processing. Please what do I do cause school is resuming September 8
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by montrealer: 9:30am On Aug 26, 2015
He can but he has to take the following into consideration:

1) he'll be asked at the POE why he is coming in so early, it doesn't mean he won't be allowed in though.

2) he would be unable to register for his program (since his admission is for January) and as such would not qualify for the work permit just yet. It's only for actively registered students.

3) he would therefore be incurring expenses (room & board)

4) he would have to endure 3-4 months of cold weather prior to the start of his program.

In sum, he can but he should plan properly towards it. Some people try to enroll in some courses which count towards their credit.

Hello house, i've been a silent follower of d thread. I also submitted my application for study permit on 26th of June in Lagos (upfront m edicals) and since then, i've not heard anything from them. I still tracked it just now, its still giving the same reply "your application is still being processed at the Visa office, Accra". I'm worried o. And school is to resume Sept 8 (Humber College) and i've already paid half tuition fees. What baffles me most is that a guy we submitted 2geda d same day and d same school too (Humber College) got his passport dispatched on d 13th of August. I've been tracking mine daily since that day. And i 've already sent a mail to d visa office (Accra), dont even know if they read d mail. I just got d default msg they do send whenever they receive mails. Please friends, advise on what to do, please.

Applicants can use the link below to open a case specific enquiry if their undecided application has been 8weeks or longer. I know the wait has not been easy but please exercise restraint and be courteous when making your enquiry.
