Galads:
Sorry guys I was really tired to update the house about the latest at the embassy after my interview today. I will start by advising guys to always close their ears to all those touts outside. The guy who photocopied my docs made a mistake to photocopy the back of my block Acct slip instead of the front, and I got to find out really late last night. So I had to photocopy outside the embassy. When the guy saw my form, I attached my photo to one of the forms and the guy quickly said it's wrong that I need to photocopy that same page with my passport to get get the other application form. To me he made sense and I did it. He started saying I the passport data page is suppose to be coloured and I said don't worry I will give them black and white. Those guys are out there to make people confuse and do rubbish.
I got to the gate at about 6.15 and I quickly observed there are no much people compare to when I went for my block account. I joined the queue and our man consulate 1 was already shouting at people who couldn't follow simple instructions. At that time, I realized everybody today were there for student visa.
There were at least 25 people from my count. Our cash and documents collected one after the other. 4 different people to attend to us and our german madam wasn't among them. 3 black ladies and a gentleman, my interview, same questions as we all know but one of the other counter asked "why was germany seperated before 1990". Pls I was asked to name my courses according to the semesters. I think I flopped here cause I know all courses without separating them according to semesters. So I just missed them randomly.
So know your modulus according to each semester.
If you are here, count yourself lucky. A Lot of guys don't even know anything about the country they are planning to go study in. Some don't even know about the city and there came for interview. Wish all those yet to go for their interview luck. Danke schon.
Bro u goin 4 msc or bsc?...nd wat course pls

I got the quoted message a day after my interview. Was also thinking how to convince the vo during my interview because I had bsc and was also going for another bsc, I got many advice from this forum but was confused at a point which made me to run out of the thread and contacted Eke40seven privately. Thanks to his advice to respond to the mail from embassy with a well constructed mail because the CAC of the family business is not available. And it worked perfectly. @babarexo just prepare itself very well.
olompa:
Good day house, kindly find below the mail I got from the embassy this morning

In your interview, you stated that stated that you would like to take over your family`s business after your studies. Kindly provide for proof of your family`s business (Certificate of Registration/Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association).

The above documents (original + 1 copy) may be sent by courier service or dropped at the gate of the Consulate General anytime. Please state your above reference number on the envelope so your documents can be matched.

You are also requested to hand in the confirmation by Deutsche Bank that your blocked account has been opened and the necessary amount has been transferred to it as soon as at hand. The document may be send by e-mail attachment (pdf).

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Sincerely yours

Visa Section (JE)

The issue I have now is dat the family business is not registered

Kindly advise on what to do

Nice one Adexhat, I will like us to discuss more since our fiedls are even related.Good luck in your interview. pls help convert 4.62 CGPA to german grade. Thanks.

Adexhat:
Oh, ok but check very well cos when the chips are down it might eventually surface. And yes, i have about 6years working experience, presently in a supervisory role in an energy ( oil & gas) company and I submitted a recommendation/introduction letter from the HR of my company aside one from my school HOD. GPA too is good, 2.25 (german conversion) from premier university in Nig.
I also submitted ielts result of 6.5 and some international program certificates I've on climate change & energy. I'm going for M.Eng Energy & Environmental Management.

@Obiwann, you can use d form given by Pompey4 although you might need to check with your course if it's supported by DAAD scholarship as not all courses are and i understand you already have an admission. However, you can go for your present program and after for next year's edition.

Cheers

Uni asist will charge you 75 euro for the first school then 15 for the rest in same semester.

With the way this trend is going, I see Germany taking over from UK, Canada and USA as the top most destination for international scholars in few years time. Assuming i knew about what Germany was offering earlier, by now i would have started my MSc, I was always focusing on UK alone which is even too expensive. Germany is the largest and the most important economy in the euro zone even better than UK, so also in terms of renewable development Germany leads the race and even USA is behind Germany.

You're on point bro, Germany is in leading position in the area of energy and climate. Ren. Energy generation share for her electricity is about 26% with plan to increase it to about 35% by 2030. The state i'm going generates 100% energy from wind and many more. I also wished i had known all these while. But it's better late than never as the saying goes... smiley

Germany is the most developed country in Europe and presently the economic power house of Europe. Very soon Germany will overtake USA, Canada, UK and Australia as the most popular destination for international students. But when it comes to renewable development America is still on the lead. American craftsmanship remains the best in the world.

O boyh! The wait wasn't easy I tell you.. So this is how it feels to be finally granted visa?
The journey that began in thread 1 and continued to thread 2 has finally come to an end...
I got my DB confirmation last week Wednesday, had done my interview on 6th of July. I couldn't bear the wait any longer and had to send mails to all the e-mails of the alien offices in Hamburg. Alas, an hour thirty minutes later the much awaited e-mail arrived. I couldn't believe my ears nor my eyes. I had to run it through Oye50 to make sure my eyesights were not failing me.

I thank first and foremost the Almighty God, my Oga Eke, my mentor Devmantic, my source of ogbolo inspiration Ahbbiey, our mother Zeeblamj and her namesake ibanj, my realest guyz Dolpaz and Cahnellven, my baddest guy Kennyoguns, my e-fighter Twinkle1 grin , Oye50, Obs3rver, Pompido, Aibee01, Williamso, XpensiveT, mostyg, lmuhopeful, number13, yusufftaiwo, hollaytan, my oga at the top Justwise, my ghost buddy Panzi and his fellow ghost-crew, all our ogas in Germany, Cindino20, styles2009, DANNIEmore, adenjnr, Diamlerbenz, Chief NaijaObi, Nevilbot et al, 2016 visa hopefuls led by the very able hadassaheke and every other person reading this post.

Dehonourable:
My heart fill wit joy, I wish to announce to you all that I have just received the usual mail from the embassy "VISA APPROVED". It took exactly 27days.

I funded my account on August 6, a week after my interview.

MY EXPERIENCE:
I joined this forum since on January 2013. I applied to numerous universities and was rejected in all but I still summoned courage applied to more schools not considering the cost. This year, about three universities offered me admission for Masters degree. I now have options. God Win!

I wish to thank every members of this honourable forum for their amicably supports to ensure our success. To those who are still expecting their visa and also those yet to participate in an interview, I pray and ask almighty God to grant you all heart desires, Amen. To our new members who are at the verge of commencing applications for next academic session, I wish u all success.

Ich gehe Zum staat von Bavaria in Deutschland

Brotherly, I'm looking shocked at Uni Stuttgart, HTW Berlin, DIA Dessau, Bahaus Weimar etc. I will apply to these schools and hopefully get admitted to one. Though am still in the early stages (gathering my documents) now and also gathering enough information from this trend. As application window open like this, I go dey fire those schools. With Gods help grin.
