Onyedinma demands Millwall start winning at home

Onyedinma
Nigerian youngster Fred Onyedinma has said Millwall must start winning at home to appease their fans, who are unhappy with the team’s poor home form.
The on-form striker said the fans who pay to watch the team play deserve the best and have the right to express their feelings.
The teenager said: “Millwall is a tough place to be if results are not going well. But it is our job to sort it out.
“It is what we get paid for. We are playing to win games. The fans pay to come and watch, so they can react how they feel.
“Everyone who plays at Millwall knows we have to get used to that. That is never going to change.
“When you are not winning, you tend to panic if you don’t score a goal quickly. That happens in football.
“It is not good for the fans to see. Right now we need leaders - people to step up and take responsibility.
“But we also need to stick together as a team. That is how things will change. Setbacks will make us stronger. Hopefully, we will bounce back and find some form.”
The academy product agreed it had been a bittersweet night for him.
“I am delighted to get my first goals for the club, but we lost at home again,” he said.
“We conceded from three set-pieces, which is not good. Defensive lapses happen.
“It hurts more when you get so close. We need to move on and look forward to playing Chesterfield on Saturday.
“Hopefully, the 0-0 draw at Scunthorpe will give us confidence.
“Scoring my first goal gave me confidence to keep going and get a second. Hopefully, that can happen for the whole team.”

Nigeria: Aag - Awoniyi Shuns Siasia's U-23 for Liverpool

Nigerian U 23 striker, Taiwo Awoniyi will miss the All Africa Games. He has travelled out to Liverpool for medicals, prior to his signing for the English premier league club. Awoniyi, is part of coach Samson Siasia plans for the Games, which begin on September 4. But according to the team's spokesman, Timi Ebikaboro the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star has not been with the team, training in Port Harcourt.
Siasia
'Awoniyi, is off to England to sign his contract with Liverpool. 'That is why he is not here training with us for the All Africa Games," Ebikaboro said. Apart from Awoniyi, other players like Shehu Abudulahi, Umar Aminu, Chima Akas and captian Azubuike Okechukwu are yet to join the team for the Congo Brazzaville Games.
" There are some of our players who were part of the qualifying series, and we may likely not have them at the Games. This is because they just signed for new clubs. "We hope some of them will meet us in Congo but a player like Shehu Abdullahi is out because his club has said outright that they won't release him, if it's not a FIFA window and the competition is not.
"Azubuike Okechukwu is the captain of the side and will play a match for his club in Turkey this weekend and hopefully will join us in Congo afterwards alongside Umar Aminu.
"But we've lost our left back, Stanley Amuzie, who had a surgery two days ago in Italy, Chima Akas is with the Super Eagles. Also we're not sure if Godwin Savior will join us in Congo," Ebikagboro confirmed. Coach Samson Siasia is expected to announce his final squad shortly before they travel

All these players that want to shun national team call-ups in exchange for non-existent club careers, e go soon clear for their eye. Even that yeye, 400th division club want to Granada Godwin too abi? It is well, I hope these decisions are for the best. Apparently, Mikel's set had far more patriotic players than these kids.

It is not like that. If Kaita or Taiwo got offers, they would take off without thinking.
Man must wack.
I pray it works out well for AWO. He is a super star in the making. Arsene Wenger missed out on a great striker that would fit Arsenal.
Siasia please invite Obinna Nwobodo. His passing game will fit your style and philosophy of the game.

I do hope Awoniyi gets a good deal out of this, I can't fathom why Liverpool would want to loan him out, it's not like they have great strikers....anyway, I hope he's loaned to a sensible club that is nothing like that yeye Granada, before they block my baby's destiny

I wonder why our media is not talking about Isaac Success, he played last weekend coming on in the 2nd half he changed the dynamics of that game and made a to die for assist from the right wing, I expect him to get a start this week off the back of that performance. I remember last year people killing this guy for picking this team now with patience he will become a vital player in Spain. Btw we better call him up cuz he has been in Spain a couple years now it will do us like film trick if he gets citizenship and opts for Spain.

OK now I get you but d players can't see d future to knw which club go upgrade their careers and agents don't really care they will just use any opportunity to cash in

Awo is qualified to strike for Liverpool especially with them not having a pacy striker but the Work permit issue with England will make integrating him difficult.

Awo's agent should make sure Awo participates regularly with the Dream team because his national duties will help secure a work permit faster.

Bony is out injured for this weekend clash. Lets see whether Kelechi will get any minutes on the pitch or whether Pel will bring on Demichellis to play as the striker when Aguero gets tired.

I read this on a forum and I had tpost it here.

My brother its a process i am excited by his development if he succeeds he will open a door for more kids coming from Nigeria to big clubs. We should show patience, in all reality all Man City owes us is an healthy and developed player at the end of the day i see him being a star somewhere else ala Morata from real to juve.

I see Nacho making it at City because Pellegrini let Dzeko and Jovetic go with only three strikers in the club. We will play a one man attack - 4-5-1 with only Aguero, Bony and Nacho.

That is so much faith and I feel Nacho is up to the task.

Success to me is one of d most underated Nigerian players in Europe. While Iheanacho and Awoniyi are being hyped especially on this thread. No one says a thing abt Success. This lad's game level is higher than that of Iheanacho, Awoniyi and Yahaya.

At the moment, Awo is a bigger player than when these guys started playing for Liverpool. Awo is already a star for the Nigerian Olympic team.

Then that's 'only you' Sir.
To the rest of us, Success is still "The Beast" and will certainly keep coming into his own. He's a lethal attacking talent in d mold of both Samuel Eto'o fils and Batistuta.
But pls be 'brutally' honest Sir, there's no way Success' game, technique and skillset comes close to Nacho. Nacho is the 'Monster' among all the top talents of d class of 2013 u-17 and 2015 u-20. Na wa o!

Even Yahaya and Success cant be compared. The latter is a Striker while d former is an attacking midfielder(but Yahaya possesses hybrid qualities btwn a deeplying striker and an amf dat give him amazing skillsets).

But Iheanacho is, in oda words, d combination of the Yahaya hybrid qualities and d Success attacking qualities. He's more effective than the 'amazing' Yahaya in d amf role and even much more effective than Success in d striker's role because he got world class finishing and oda skillsets. Success will score 7/10 of goal chances but Nacho will convert 9.9/10 of them. The oda 0.1 is in case of an offside. So how can success' game be more than Nacho?

You are 100% right abt one thing though... SUCCESS IS A SUPER CLASS ABOVE AWONIYI. Awoniyi got d work rate but Success is hardworking too(but not more than Awo). Success got positional intelligence, top spatial awareness, excellent runs, world class finishing and others. Awo is dwarfed by Success in these areas but both are great prospects 4 Nigerian soccer, no doubt abt it.

P.s: I know Safari sweetie might roast me alive 4 this. I just hope she understands...

Success is very good... I dont think anyone has defended him better than I have on this forum ... His being relatively away from the limelight is good for his development... That said... It may have been just a cameo for Nacho today but the ball has been set rolling....

Now thats what is called hype.. cheesy It gets me cracking
Anyway... For me, It isn't about who is better.. Success will come great.. one thing people dont know about success is that he is pretty ambitious ... But nacho (if he reach his full potentials) will be among the elite... But that is '' IF'' he reaches his full potential.. Every thing seems to be falling in place though... Let wait and see

Hype, flattery, over estimation, overrated... Call it anything u want Sir. But I'm just being 'brutally honest'. Nothing beats the Truth no matter how 'outrageous' is sounds or looks.
Statistics dont lie but sometimes they are to be ignored *smiles*

Of course Success is ambitious, and u think Nacho isn't?
B4 New Zealand 2015, Nacho was interviewed and he revealed dat his role models are Messi and Kaka. He went on to say with a combined touch of modesty and self confidence dat he 'hopes' to keep improving so dat one day he just might be crowned a 'Fifa ballon d'or' winner as the World's best. His father reminds me of mine... Perfectionists. They can push u still u go beyond urself. That's d good side behind having a perfectionistic father.

I do not like comparing these lads because they are special. Thers is ons thing I like to point out. Awo has that ability to create space for the midfielders to find him. That is Awo's strength. His weak point is finishing. He will sort it out and then, we will have a lethal finisher in Awo.

My fear with Success is that he is not getting the chance attack regularly. Sometimes, he is on the wings. That is why I wanted him to go to Milan where he would get proper training as a finisher. Unlike Nacho and Awo who get regular attack trajning.

I hope things work out for Success because he is a true attacking beast.

We are on the same plain here... Nacho is a special jewel... He has a great career ahead of him but as you well know there are many independent and intervening variables that affect stardom... Like I said everything seems to be falling in place though... So let just wait and see how he comes through

At the bolded, I don't wanna be drawn into the debate of who is better or more ambitious.. As you should know they possess different qualities... But it has become increasing glaring in recent times that nacho possesses the quality/talent/potential to jostle with the worlds elite for the gongs...

So we are cool ... cool

But when you think of Bojan krkic, Denison, quaresma et al you realize that poor management could truncate early gains in terms of development of players and it is even more surprising when you realize that even clubs with reputation for breading players could do little to help... At age 16-18 these aforementioned were touted to be future balon d or winners.. Infact very few players till date could do with their feet what these guys did.... They were my best but I was disappointed ..

I believe nacho would be different.. There is this aura around him
