port harcourt real igbo name is igweocha but you will not hear every igbo man claiming port, we have other economic viable cities

the same way we have enugu and onitsha and other tourist cities like owerri and educational towns like Nsuka and Uturu


So i think yoruba should jettison this every yoruba is ca lagosian and have common wealth and have en developement of their region...the whole USA cant claim New York

let us assume in term of external agression, lagos is very vulnerable been at border and over looking the sea. are yourubas not thinking of buffer zone


the same reason USA moved capital from New York to Washington
the same way Nigeria moved it from lagos to Abuja
the same way Onitsha and Port is igbo cities and Enugu administartive capital

the same way isreal used Tel Aviv for capital instead of jerusalem



So i think the yoruba has to forget I get am before syndrome, focus on even developement, forget prostration and tell their elders they are messing up and also forget traditions, too much tradition is dragging people backwards.... the role of their kings must be reduced minimally


then they should make sure they go to their villages always be it christmas or sallah, you cant claim lagos and sacrifice your origin....

na you sabi, there's nothing to fray about for, Nigeria is still very underdeveloped. We should channel our effort into developing our various places. Lagos remains the most developed place in Nigeria and by virtue of location, its a yoruba land but my concern is that the difference between Lagos and other yoruba area is thick, development in southeast is more even than in southwest but I think should focus on making Nigeria better.
