[s]I know at the right time we'll meaning Igbos will step in and renegades like Nnamdi Kanu will be relegated to the background. Opportunistic spur of the moment. Somebody ask Nnamdi Kanu and his goons if they have bothered to do a study on Nationalism at all; where in the study of Nationalism in either Political science or Sociology can you find a quest like that of Biafra calling for violence? The Igbos according to the Books and reality should pursue " Gentail Nationalism" If in 1960 Nigeria ddnt need a bullet to get independence from her colonial Masters the British, I wonder why Mr Kanu will be advocating for violence when it was clear Ojukwu failed using Violence. The igbos need Geniuses with Brains at this point in time and not Drunks with thugs and violent propaganda. It's a negotiation and consultation struggle and not violence. The igbos have the right to seek self determination but it should be handled by decent knowledgeable non violent professionals. Thugs got countries in the past but not in these days and age. The world has moved and the UN has provided for self determination. Igbos do the needful and explore the opportunity.[/s]
Nnamdi kanu was a member of non-violent massob. Your awusa, fulani dolts in uniforms then started killing massob members for 15 years, dumping their bodies in Ezu rivers and burying them alive. That became the turning point. I'm sure you were one of those who cheered the awusa fulani police anytime they paraded massob members as criminals, even here on NL.

The younger ones have taken over, you kill an IPOB member, you'll be chased down like a rat and smashed. It's tit-for-tat now, no more ultimatums.

This is bad first Ibos. The Nigerian project favours them because they can sell their imported goods to a large market of 170 million people . Now there is nobody to sell to but barely 25million. The only reason for NAFTA, ECOWAS and EU is that larger markets are best in terms of combined GDP and scale economics. The East on its own is very unviable. It will be a landlocked, entity bordered by the Niger Delta, Cameroon, North East, Edo and Delta. All tribes in Nigeria have business skills, Dangote is from the North, Atiku has factories producing everything from pure water to cooking oil. Yorubas are Lords of the FMCG and other sectors. In the 70s Hausas had commercial enclaves in Lagos near Apapa, Ibadan , Old PH town and other places, these enclaves will now grow and multiply. I still don't know why people think this move East is good for Ibos.
ur analysis does not hold water. that they want to establish a market home does not mean the are quitting their current business areas. being a wealthy man does not translate to business ideas. atiku and dangote will only trade on what they have the ideas. are u not a hypocrite to discourage the same people u asked to develop their place. at times i assume u and ur people are reasoning with ur anus. if u talk about business ideas, igbos have it more than any tribe in nigeria so allow them to do their thing their way. but who told u igbos dont produce? remove igbo busineses both production, warehousing and retail outlets, transportation and see how lagos will look like. cry for ur people not for igbos.

This is all hand work of Nnamdi KANU. Nigga opening every Igbo person's eyes. I swear that man needs an award from the entire Igbo community. He's opening each Igbo eyes.

Applause to this new development. Take this from the son of a businessman who made all his wealth focusing on just igboland, be it SE or SS, keeping your business in igboland is better than doing it in South West or north. Una have started in the right journey and trust, it'll benefit Una better in the future.

Ifeanyi uba cant stop that his oil biz in Lagos because of its nature..the club he is sponsoring is simply to keep his name afloat til next election in anambra state
Whether, it is expansion or relocation. One thing is certain, East is gaining, The headquater, manufacturing firms can be in the East, while rented warehouses can remain in the SW and North. All the same it is Biafran-Inspired, the Oba of lagoon, and the king of Daura will have their OduaArewa sooner than planned, where they can hold hands and sing kumbaya. cheesy

Great news. Abeg make una dey come home. Our home is ours to develop. Nobody will do that for us. If we all leave the south-east to run to other regions, what happens to our home? The era of waiting for the govt (which hasn't yielded much) is over. We can do this. Let's do this.

God bless ani Igbo.

Hypocrite, did the name MASSOB, a non violent organisation sound rellevant to you? Force and violence is the language that you baboons and monkeys of the zoological republic of nigeria understands and such will be given to you by the IPOB. Either by force or by peace, one thing is certain, Biafra must be liberated. Nnewi is already booming with the relocation of automobile parts dealers, and with this relocation of the Phones and Allied Product Dealers Association (PAPDA) to their Biafraland, other Igbo businesses will follow suit and in the process, Biafra, not will, but MUST emerge.

Why are you afraid? Your people and your Oba the lagooner wanted them out of Lagos, why complain now? By the way, it's you guys and other West African country's buyers that will now travel to the East of the Niger to buy from them in Igboland, so to hell with that your 25 million market.

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a step, one person relocating won't be noticed, but 3, 4,...,10. I think will very much be felt and tell me who do u think is going to replace them?
Of course their absence would be felt for a while, but as humans we will adjust and sooner than later others will take their place. As long as there's a need and a market, someone/people will fill the need. Nature hates a vacuum -- meaning if there's a gap, something will fill it. It's just the way the cookie crumbles. undecided

SE governors MUST encourage companies owned by igbos to move their headquarters (corporate) home. That way the CEO and other management staff will be paying their big taxes to the states.

We need to make the governors think.

Don't flatter yourself. There's nothing special about importing containers of merchandise into the country and trading. If the yeebos leave Computer village today whatever void that creates can be easily filled by others. As long as there's a market, there'll always be business.
Lol! Other like who? Can your people or the hausa/fulanis fill such void?

I will advice those without enough money to go as deep as Ebonyi state to buy up cheaper lands .BBelieve me when I say those places will be like heaven when biafra is settled.

If they relocate their business back to the East, the business might not thrive because the west has the spending power to purchase.

Who will patronize them in the East?

This sounds like a welcome development but my concern is How tenable will this be. I hope the benefits of this move will also reach those who are not politically connected.

The igboman wey me I know will not wait to be begged by anybody to go invest anywhere he sees opportunity, he will just go there and make his money, and will even beg for shop space if necessary, especially the traders. As igbos relocate to the east the fulanis will be replacing them in lagos.

This is a welcome development.

The state government should create special purpose vehicle that would partner with eastern owned businesses to set up factories in the east.
Lol, and the Fula must carry along with them their propagation of their religion.

Serves the SW right.

They wise ones are seeing through APC's plans to pauperize them and taking evasive action to retain their business. it won't stop especially the northerners to try and ruin Nigeria's economy even if they think it will hurt Igbo businesses more. They just don't care about the prosperity of Nigerian economy, so long as they can hurt Igbo in the process of destroying Nigerian economy.

I just weep for a few money miss roads igbo businessmen like Obi Jackson investing his hard earned money in places where people intensely hate him for accident of his birth place. I am only waiting to see how they will try and bankrupt him with heavy taxes as soon as his VI building is completed. Some of our people are truly senseless.

it depends on the type of goods.

Most goods are bought in Lagos from other west African countries and these good are sold in Lagos mainly by Igbos. Go to markets dominated by Igbos in Lagos and see the heavy transaction of business going there between lagos and other African countries.

Some of you need to be realistic when making comments and not talking trash.
And goods made in aba are gotten from where if not Aba?

Champagne that is a French product ?. Nobody wants to substitute in that class of product and abeg. Okonkwo can continue in that luxury business that Buhari will soon raise tariffs on. We are talking about motor parts, clothes and electronics. Yorubas were the king , even manufacturing refrigerators and freezers in the days before importation was let loose. They will soon substitute Ibos in all those sectors especially now that jobs are hard to come by and the banking sector is going down.
Now, Coming to indigenous manufacturing esp in the area of technology, leave it for Igbos.
