Believe this news at your own peril.
Yesterday, they said it was T.B Joshua who bought the jet, Today, they changed the owner to Adeboye.

All they want is to drag the men of God down.

Mumu. Look @ the two gulfstreams, are they the same? Keep worshipping your tincan gods.

$65M is more than N1.3Billion o. kai. And the cost of maintaining this jet is roughly $3M or at least N600M annually . Poor members paying Tithes. And people will still support all this. Redeem Commercial church

The power of tithes and offering yet their members can't afford their schools.

I graduated from a federal university, but let me tell you these facts;

1)Covenant University is still one of the cheapest standard private universities in Nigeria, and one of the best.

2)For your information, Most of you people don't know that the Federal government subsidizes the fees of each university student to a tune of about 300 000 naira. They also get different funds and grants from the government. Or do you think the federal schools run on the 10, 15k students pay per session? University education is not as cheap as you think.

I'm using this to make you and thousands of people out there who have the notion that some churches uses peoples offerings to build schools which some people can't afford to stop being hypocritical and get more knowledge

Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.

What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?

A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever.

The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises.

The wind blows to the south and goes around to the north; around and around goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns.
According to scientist, if am right the sun neither rise nor set. Its the earth that rotate round the sun.

Because running a private school in Nigeria.,....when the government is not funding you, or providing power or water for you....is that cheap...not.

Adeboye runs schools, churches, welfare projects, and has to pay salaries for staff and pastors. He also has to fund church buildings.

Meanwhile....it costs $110 million to run a university properly per annum. (American unis spend at least $250 MILLION).

I am not happy with our pastors buying jet.....but to say that they are exploiting their members via school fees is far from the truth. It costs money to fund a school properly. And while I rather Adeboye spend the jet money on the schools....it still won't be enough.

You pay low school fees in your govt owned unis because government pays billions to subsidsie you. Now...imagine if that subsidy is taken away....

Wisdom encompasses knowledge. Get more wisdom. a true pastor is better than an academic professor.

it is better not to run a school at all than for any church to have a school where more than 50% of the church members cannot pay the tuition. If these men of God are wise they should rather use the money and help the poor members to pay tuition in Federal universities or elsewhere . Quote me any day anytime, all these pastors or churches want to "show off" that they have a school. They want the world to know they have money. They are after worldly gains. u remember the missionary school during British colonial rule. Ask Pastor Adeboye, or pastor Oyedepo whether they paid tuition fees then during our British colonial rule. Ask your father, Ask any old person whether when the missionaries came to open a school in Nigeria and how free they were without worrying for school fees.

i tell u. yes i agree with you that running a school os expensive but running a school when majority of your church members cannot pay the fees is wickedness and uncalled for.
opening such expensive schools is misplaced priorities of the first order and a very foolish idea.

There wealth is clean. The Bible made us to understand that everything on earth and heaven belong to the children of God. A man who worship and respect his commandments is meant to be rich and prosperous.
