Yesterday I was listening to a Trina song. She said something like "Make him work for that kitty cat. Give him none of that until..." . Well, until he does whatever. Can't remember the lyrics now. Instinctively, inside, I went "Yeah!!!!". But then I sat back & thought about it much deeper. Now as an outsider looking in. Objectively. I asked myself, what's so special about it that most of us attach so much value to it? Trina is definitely not a virgin, so why does she think a guy needs to do more before he can actually sleep with her? I get it & don't get it, if that makes sense. I get that you must have morals & not give yourself to just about anybody sexually. However, I still don't get why we put so much importance in it (using it as bargaining chip whenever possible), like we're doing a huge favour to whomever is going to get it as if we're the only ones giving a part of ourselves during intercourse. But it is what it is. I guess that's just how women are programmed, because even if a woman gave birth to several children, she'll somehow still believe she has the 8th wonder of the world right between her legs.
