Tuwo is any swallow!
Tuwo masara: is from corn
Tuwon shinkafa is from rice
Tuwon doya is from yam
Alubo is ground cassava often mixed with ground corn...
Masara: corn, shinkafa: rice, doya: yam
Just like that...

My memories of the north: chilling under the dongo yaro tree with my parents shelling and eating jada.

Chai! Now you make me wanna go back, just for a day cry. I remember when I first came here and saw some lady hawking what I thought was 'kunun zaki' I was so happy and I decided to buy, that was my first worst decision evergrin. Bought it, feeling happy and couldn't wait to get to my room and have a drink. I was so disappointed and angry when I tasted it, alas! it was pap crycry, they just made it watery, I almost cursed my friend who convinced me to get it, lol. Luckily, I have tasted masa once here, a friend got it for me. I can't wait to go back to the north I swear, missing lots of delicacies. If only, I can get kunun shinkafa nowundecided
