0.7kg at 3 weeks is not that bad but definitely not a best result.

Looking at the prize 2900/25kg, i expects much more quality feed from them than the popular 'top feed'.

Maybe not. I'm sure you'll spend more using Topfeed to attain that weight though. I've used both. Seems to me the birds has a better FCR using KBC plus in relation to the money which is the end result, I made better profits!

Day 1 - glucose
Day 2-5 -Vitamin and Antibiotics (Biovita-stress and Doxy-gen are good)
Day 6-8 - Anti-coccidiosis drug (embazin forte)
Day 10 - First Gumboro o vaccine
Day 14 - First Lasota vaccine
Day 21 - Second gumboro vaccine
Day 28 - Second Lasota vaccine

tanks sir. Actually got some buh wanted to be sure, the one I have goes thus....first lasota is on day3, first gumboro is on day6, then second lasota and gumboro is day13 and day20 respectively.

Thats the simple truth. know of 2 farms (Dargrib & 0jaba)in Nasarawa State that stock from Max Farm. The birds started laying @ 16 wks and by 27 wks. the eggs are Extra large already selling @ 680 from the farm. Artificial light was not introduced till abt 70% production. The birds are doing over 90% now.

I'd like to know how long brown pullets lay, from when they start to when then stop. a poultry farmer told me its 1yr (give or take)

Sir, i didnt say KBC is not good for having 0.7kg in 3 weeks,i was only worried about the prize 2900(in relation with the said result).

Besides, what did 'Top feed' gave you in 3 weeks when you use it?

I just moved my layers to their cage and I discovered some were laying soft-shelled eggs..I plan to increase their calcium tomorrow maybe that will control it.

Ayostically. It depends on whether they are early or late moulters. Early moulters lay for between 10 & 12 months. Late moulters lay for between 12 & 15 months.
