You may need to read up the whole thread to get a better understanding of the current situation to guide the comments you make here.

So far, chucky234 has not made any effort to refund the buyer's money. All he's been doing is make arrogant and empty threats to the buyer.

if you bent on not losing your hard earned cash you will find the right seller . you will probably have to promise a N1000 fuel though. the auto market is huge with almost unlimited choices.

Oga, no car seller will allow u to run his engine for 2 hours. What is N1,000? And at the end u might end up not even buying the car after the 2 hours running.? If u are a serious buyer u won't ask for that.

If u are a car dealer will u allow everyone that comes to inspect to let the engine run for 2 hours? Be honest with urself. If Mr A let's car run for 2 hours and later decided not to buy, then Mr B,C,D,E,F come and do the same. That is a whole 12 hours wasted testing a car. Guy dey reason with ur brain.

This car looks like something they use in selling bread lol. Tattered interior, no airbag, and what's that in the ashtray and gear lever? Abs cannibalized, no battery. Where is the maintenance culture? And the way that car was advertised as if everything was perfect. Na Toyota u sabi yab, common c class no gree u maintain but u will be the first to discourage anyone from buying a Toyota.

This thread is really derailing.

Let's get back to the facts.

Chucky234 sold a car to oseri.

Oseri claimed chucky did not fully disclose all the faults the car had.

Please let's stop all the name calling and adverts it's not really helping.

Oseri can you make the car available for inspection in PH, I would like a third party to have a look at the car. Chucky is the offer still open for vehicle return?

Below is a pic of the roads I passed while driving to ph on my last trip, there was a time I drove through 2ft of mud I lost my cooling fan during that trip. A lot can really go wrong while trying to deliver a vehicle.

Chucky/oseri please calm down and settle this.

Oseri please send me your number. 08023251039.

It is disgraceful, biased and dishonest disgusting comments like this that has turned this section of Nairaland to a safe haven for scammers. I remember that the disgraced moderator chelseabmw used to make these kind of comments in support of InspiredM, on the numerous scam threads about his neferious activities.

i am giving you hard facts and you are talking scenario.

i confirmed the ac, transmission and engine were in top condition.

i think you need to visit a dealer. don't just assume.

sometimes these car seat on their lot for upto a year . when they find a serious buyer, they move heaven and earth to make a sale.

by the way i negotiated a full tank of petrol in the deal too. in an open market, nothing is impossible. have a nice day

these are all minor issues, i know they cud be annoying as hell, but this is a naija used car........it cant be in pristine condition.
stick to the major issues, such as the brakes/abs n transmiison..................listing these other minor issues make u appear childish/unserious.
even if you were not able to come for inspection or send some1...at least you shud hv asked for pics.......

many of us hv sold naija used cars, n its just not every singleissue/fault 1 can remember or state at the point of sale....but at least the serious issues shud b stated upfront....

cars are like women...people hv different taste.......................1 mans meet is another mans poison
the super glue thingy...some other person might not mind...though me personally wud mind...... grin grin

2 resolve this matter....both of u shud be willing to looose some money..................to also make case, be it police/army/navy/lawyer..........be also prepared to loose/spend money

wish to amend my earlier statement, after seeing the pics chucks234 used to advertise the car, and the actual pictures of the car as posted by the buyer.........
mischief and trickery is involved........cos going by chucks pics..the car looks cleaner n well maintained....
chuks234, your integrity is at stake here,............our people say...if you dont want to get dirty, dont play with pigs
you brought this upon urself, by posting misleading/air brushed pics of the car....and the buyer being also careless and negligent...maybe lulled into a false sense of security by ur clean profile on this forum, decided to trust u, and not do the necessary checks done b4 the purchase of a naija used car.

i advice you to settle this asap, to prevent further damage to ur name.....also the customer is king...learn to be civil is ur comments...ur last statements on this issue really exposes the level of ur intellect and customer relations skill.................i understand u may b annoyed, but no one throws the baby away with the bath water...simply cos the baby defeacated in the bath water

hahahahaha, wait till you see the car before you condemn it, your judgement is based what you're seeing here. I'm the second owner of that you're seeing there, the gear lever cover of that particular generation get weak with time, check around and see.
You mean the car was driven from Lag to PH without battery?
Come up with something more sensible pls.

Like I said my car was in good condition when I handed it over to the driver, the interior and exterior of that is clean for a used car, you can have someone in PH check the car before concluding.

It's not wise to keep arguing with you because you have blinded yourself to reason. You know the gear lever cover gets weak, why didn't you show the SAND + Glue used to hold it down in your own pictures?

He wouldn't show the sand and superglue because he had the intention of cheating and scamming. The advertisement he used to lure and ensnare the poor OP was full of half truths and outright falsehood.

From the look of things I am yet to see a full picture of the car as posted by the op as I am not convinced with the partial picture posted in regards to the actual state of the car.
In as much as I despise fraud and blame the seller for not disclosing all the faults(which I also know is quite impossible), I sincerely believe (from his writeups) that the op doesn't want an amicable solution but rather is out for blood, his sole intent is to tarnish the image of the seller.
My verdict to chucky234;
1)you knew of the aforementioned faults though maybe not to the exaggerated extent the op has disclosed and yet you chose not to mention.
2)the driver u sent to deliver the car decided to play a fast one on the op with or without your collusion, fraudulently collecting 66k from the op.

My verdict to oseri;
1)in as much as I know it is not a crime to trust someone I strongly believe that you failed to properly carryout due diligence before the transfer of money or is there something we don't know?
2)you are buying a Nigerian everyday used 13yr old mecerdes Benz car for the said amount and expect it to be in pristine condition?

Final verdict.
Chucky234, your non-disclosure of all the faults of the vehicle has led to the op making unnecessary and unplanned expenditure in the course of getting a car from you and Because you were responsible for delivering the car in a working state to the op, chucky234, your driver had no reason whatsoever to demand and collect money from the op to cover repairs in the course of delivery. You are hereby directed to refund the money (66k) collected by your driver from the op.
Oseri , seeing that you are the unsuspecting buyer here I empathize with you but I must give you the hard truth that no amount of juju can upturn, u still owe the man a 100k(mind you it was the driver that collected 66k from you). I would advise you cut your loss and let this be, there is a whole lot of other things to banter about.

P.s: in reality Oseri na you chop am just that it was not as much as you expected.
