The only reason why I refuse to engage constructively on this thread is because it was o obviously initiated by a Yoruba and trying to deflect it to Edo people. Now it would have been just fine starting the thread and writing the same thing without trying to pin it on Edo people. What happened to saying the 'point of view of a Nigetian' instead of dragging innocent tribes into it |

EDO is very much with the SS and was also part of DELTA state and we were one. Remember BENDEL?? My fellow deltans regard them as our brothers regardless of the seperation. Yes biafra should concentrate on their states; which of course are the 5 SE states. That igbos are in the neighbouring states doesn't mean those lands belong to them in the actual sense. No one is stopping biafra from secceeding but attempting to take part of the SS lands will be tantamount to treason! pazienza: |

You now see?? That's how greedy they can be. They not only want their erosion ravaged, landlocked, 5 states biafra, but they want more... Which will never happen. Their greed is beyond logical imagination. sandraokosun: |

trapQ:Your comment proves you're not from Edo nay S/S. But even if you are, then you should know you just spoke out of Ignorance and stupidity. The S/S is replete with numerous minorities and thus, should pray Nigeria doesn't divide. Else if it does then it may affect the region significantly. It is then that you'll understand the meaning of ethnic bond and solidarity. Now, apart from us been in the same region what connects me and other Igboid groups to Edo? What connects an Ibibio to an Urhobo? What exactly if not the tag S/S. As a region we are connected by the free will of various minorities to live together and fight for our common interest. But when idiots like you begin to act as demi god by shackling us from our brothers from the SE then you're in for the worst. The earlier you folks begin to understand this simple reality the better for us. If you cant swallow this simple truth, then you may have us to contend with. Because not an inch of our land will be given to that your Edo republic. We will even be at the fore front in that war to wipe off any invader. Take this into your skull. |

Stup!d asshole!!! The waywardneds you just displayed by your comment is the same reason why your so called ikwerre brothers aren't willing to join biafra. You people make yourselves hateable and detestable. You mean you can't pass a point across without hurling insults?? Never come into my mentions with such babaric behaviour pls. Its also very typical of you lots to accuse people of "claiming to be SS". I won't comment further on that. When you learn to give constructive criticisms and engage in arguements without first raining insults, then and only then will I reply... Good day!! Eastlink: |

All you children saying careless words in nairaland nit knowing that you are heaping curses onto yourself. In your old age you will be going up and down looking for deliverance from a life of poverty and sorrow not knowing that it's as a result of your careless words. First I am a christian yoruba from ondo state and a stauch supporter of the Biafran cause but I 'm too happy with the way the Biafrans are propagating their ideology lambasting and generalising everybody as their enemy and now let me share a story about the Biafran soldiers who invaded ore has told by my daddy who witnessed everything, the story goes like this.. When the Biafran soldiers came to our farm at Ore they didn't touch anything nor kill the farmers working on their farm but they only asked-where are the Nigerian soldiers, they never took the people farm products, they got to my grandfather'farm, they greeted him and my father and asked about the Nigerian soldiers and they went on their way. So from this analysis I had no problem with the Biafran but the way they are going about it is what I dislike, let me tell you many yorubas will support the Biafran cause, although they are not talking but definitely when the time is right they will match in support of it, they would have done it but Jonathan mess up the whole thing. All hail the great Biafran Republic! |

tubolancer:Thanks for your support. A lot of us Biafran agitators actually have friends from different parts of Nigeria in real life with whom we'll continue to be friends even after we've gone our seperate ways. A lot of us would want the seperation to be peaceful and for the nations that are born out of the breaking down of Nigeria to all prosper. It would be in the interest of all of us. So, demonstrate your support for a peaceful seperation of Biafra from Nigeria by signing the ongoing petition and also mobilise your acquaintances to do so. Hopefully it will generate enough noise that may eventually lead to the desired UN backed referendum or at least a proper restructuring of Nigeria. |

Someone complained that people are impersonating edo people, are you telling me that edo people cannot speak their mind and do you believe no edo person is on nairaland? I spent many years in edo state I can easily impersonate them but I wont do that what is the gain. By the way edo are speaking their mind and nobody is impersonating them. Definitely many of them will never have the same assumption and it cut across all the tribes. |

trapQ:You and your greedy, bile-filled Edo folks have created threads upon threads on NL to attract unnecessary attention to yourselves on IPOB pursuit. And Igbos have continually reminded you saboteurs that you're not needed! Edo people have strongly advocated and cajoled other groups for South-South republic to no avail. Why? The answer is very obvious - you're a bunch of greedy, wicked, diabolic and hypocritical, ass-licking saboteurs! Edo was simply used to complete SS zone for political convenience and therefore cannot speak for SS-Igbos. Edo is geographically and culturally not SS. Edo is more or less SW. How dare you weak-minded leeches crave for unnecessary attention from the public by dragging the Great Igbo Nation into your misery? Your claims that Igbos want you when you already have a movement is silly and cowardly. fr3do:There is no tie with the urhobos. The urhobos are more Dan the aniomas(2million-1.3million)~from national pouplation commission. When ughelli north nd south alone pass ndokwa east&west, ukwaani, aniocha north nd south all put together. While ethiope east nd west beats dat ika north east nd south, sapele nd okpe is also more than oshimili north nd south even without adding udu and the urhobos in warri south(who make up over 54% of the population)even with the anioma merger (ika,kwale,oshimil/aniocha) una no reach. Go find someone else to tie with cos anoma nd urhobo nor b mate at all. Who b anioma their daddy Abeg swerve with your careless statement. |
