Hate him or love him. Kanu is going places.

To make it in Nigeria, you start with notoriety. The government challenges/arrests you. This creates publicity.
Once you become a nuisance, they pay you off.
And you smile to the bank.

Most notable Nigerians had had run ins with the law. It is a rite of passage. It is either it consumes you or it catapults you into prominence.

OBJ, Ekwueme, NADECO members, Soyinka, Tompolo, Asari Dokubo, Fela, ND militants, etc.

You cannot be peaceful in Nigeria and expect a fair share. If BH wants billions today, Fed. government will pay up.

Kanu's hustle is real.

There is no need for you 'biafrans' to be rude to the rest of the tribes in Nigeria calling us animals in a zoo and what not. Some of us (including myself) support your secession, but if you keep insulting my countryman then you will wrongly appear as rebel tyrants.

How are you going to gather support when you insult the people you're living with? It is not the fault of the people that you are still in Nigeria but the government.

The question F.G should ask themselves is "why are people still clamoring for this cause?" There cannot be true progress of a nation without genuine reconciliation, fairness, non_victimization, equality to all parties concerned. How many people are really proud to be Nigerians? How many people can die for Nigeria? What is the Nigerian dream(just like we have American dream). Who are our founding fathers....Are they men of integrity?
The hard fact is that 80 years from now, the next generation will still be clamouring for break-up which goes to show that the foundation of this country is wrong.

Nigeria is not a nation because nobody is willing to die for Nigeria. Breaking this country can be a blessing in disguise for all parties.

I like your approach to the subject, but I must humbly disagree. Nigeria as a country in design had some flaws some of which have been corrected. We've made some progress so far.
To decide if Nigeria really should be broken up we need to assess the reason behind clamour for its divide.
I am rational and I believe things haven't gotten to the point where we should even imagine this. The question of breaking up should be left to the next two generations who I believe would be in a better position to decide the fate of Nigeria.
The status quo is full of propaganda and false reportage, with a hint of dishonesty.

To say people are unwilling to die for Nigeria is right and wrong. I know people who daily put themselves at the forefront both military and civilians for the purpose of a better Nigeria. The population of such individuals are few but they exist.

Furthermore, if Nigerians were loyal to their States or even ethnic groups I think some level of development would've thrived at the local and state level. But the contrary is the reality. The truth is Nigerians are largely SELF SERVING, we have not just learnt the art of leadership and service. Our greed and servile attitude is what is pushing us towards extinction.

No matter how many structures you break Nigeria into, the current state of mind would dominate and transform the structure to its previous point. If Nigeria must survive and thrive, we must change our approach to life.

Good morning Nigeria, Africa, Earth.

Unfortunately it is only one part of this country that is clamoring for a break up for whatever reasons. Until we all see the need to go our separate ways, this agitation remains a mere wish.

But why is it dat hausas are afraid of break up? Any small talk about break up u will see d hausas fighting tooth and nail to douse it. Is it by force to live togeda? The earlier everybody go their separate ways the easier for us all. I'm not an igbo boy but I think d solution to this blood shed is break up. I believe we all can survive on our own. I have never believed in one Nigeria though.

The most stupid and nonsense thing in recent days is people clamoring for State of Biafra, This can't happen. The people clamouring for it are nobody, Their leaders and elder statesmen are in Abuja fighting for their pockets... Like i say if you truly want Biafra desist from Nigeria and never contest any post from South East and we will take you serious... If South West want to go tomorrow you won't see us fight for any post..
