Hi,

Your CGPA is fine but you need to add the requirements for a complete application. i.e. test of english (toefl or ielts), a sound SOP and others. Do a search on daad.de for international masters programs in that field but be sure to expand a little because i doubt there are just telecomms courses. usually comes in the form of media and communications engineering (https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programs/en/?p=l#q=telecommunications&degree[]=2&fos=4&lang[]=2&fee[]=0&sortBy=1&page=1&display=list).

do your research, try and read this thread from the beginning (or just read my posts on this thread since i was in your shoes. this will make it easier to just follow all the steps i mentioned here when i started, my questions and the responses i got from the bosses)

my school only has digital communications (Christian-Albrechts University, Kiel)

Leaning the language will do wonders for you guys so let the prospect of cool euros be the motivation to learn the language.

P. S : people please gun for the best here so that even when you fall short, you end up in the mid-level. Well, anyways my clipper blades (brand new clipper oo) are not sharp at all, so I need new clipper blades (sharp) and to top it off I hard bricked my phone yesterday while trying to upgrade so I have no handy as we call it here and trying to get one hasn't been that easy (budget things).

So what do I need? Someone to help with a phone (naija phone levels) and clipper blades...

Imagine I had lectures 8 to 6 today...Several times I've said to myself, like say work dey 9ja person for no come this kain hard country for MSc o.. A few weeks ago, I tried the consulate in Lagos with my documents. This is the email i sent:

"Good day Sir,
I wish to book an appointment to apply for a student visa at the German Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria.
I am a Cameroonian and for the past 4 months, I have been making several attempts to book an appointment at the German Consulate in Yaoundé, Cameroon to no avail. The online appointment portal keeps displaying the following message: "Unfortunately, there are no appointments available at this time. New appointments will be made available for booking at regular intervals". I have also written several emails to the Consulate in Yaoundé with no positive results. I will be willing to travel to Lagos if I am given this opportunity.
Attached to this email is my official affidavit of support, admission letter and passport.
Thank you in advance for your attention to these materials. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely"

Next day this reply dropped:

"Dear Sir/Madam,
thank you for your email.
Hereby we would like to inform you that due to the high demand on student visa appointments a next student appointment will be allocated for 29.10.2015 and visa processing time takes 6 weeks after interview. We need the consent from the Aliens Authority at your future place of residence in Germany in order to issue a student visa for you and can therefore not speed up the visa process deliberately.
We are sorry but we cannot give you an earlier date since we are fully booked.
I would therefore advise you to contact your university and see if it is possible to get an enrollment extension letter or defer your admission to the upcoming summer semester 2016 so you have sufficient time to apply for your visa in your country.
We regret not to have a better news for you and only advise you to apply for visa appointment 3 month before your enrollment starts.
Thank you for comprehension."

I then contacted the international office in my school - they don't defer admissions, and I had already paid the semester fee as it was a condition for accepting the offer of admission.
They sent me a new admission letter with an extended enrollment period (up to 30th December) which I sent to the consulate in Lagos. I didn't get any reply in a while until after I had sent up to 3 emails on the same subject. I then received the appointment mail from noreply@diplo.de

At this point, I have some fears. I will be traveling to Lagos for the appointment but I'm not a legal resident in Nigeria. I hear it's a requirement if you're applying for visa out of your home country. I'm really worried. guys abeg una help Cameroonian brother
