I wonder what the response would be...would the man be a virtuous man and epitome of a good husband??

Btw I would like that kind of woman...not as wife o...I mean side chick or a visiting missus when madam is on code red, pregnant or suffering from malaria.

Different views, she might likely mean it,to an hausa family it's most likely not a big deal...so she needs our prayers to make it work, she is a courageous woman, weather it's out of her mind or not.

She has no choice, she is a Muslim and that is their culture, she knew it before she got married to the man so being against it after the marriage is foolishness, though some still try to be against their husbands taking another wife. The husband can still take some more wives.
I remember one of my boss, a Muslim got married to a Christian woman, the woman doesn't have rest of mind because she was so afraid that the husband will pick another wife. The woman was living in fear, it was as bad as that and everyone around notice it, maybe she did all this because the husband was very rich.

You must have better understanding of what marriage is in islam before marrying a Muslim. Your husband could have up to 4 wives but it's not a must. There are some xstians too who marry more than one wives. My point is, it doesn't matter whether Muslim or xstian, it's either the husband marry other wives or have girlfriends which could be more dangerous for even the wife. The prayer point should be that God should grant us good husbands and wives.

Nothing dey her mind, Muslim women doesn't have a say on this, in fact, the husband is entitled to four wives and it's in their Quran that you don't object to the man's? decision to add wives and except when it forms part of the marriage contract, I.e,the parties agreed before /during marriage that the man will not add another wife /wives. If he does, it's a valid ground for divorce.

Im so happy that with your own hand,you wrote that you will not want such as a wife and you even went further to state that you can cheat on her.

In my opinion,a man who cheats on her wife is worse than a man who takes a new wife.

I dont pray to go into polygamy either by keeping a side chic or outrightly marrying another wife but every lady should and must understand that it is very old fashioned to clamour for the faithfullness of your hubby to you only.

If it happens praise GOD. there is more to life and marriage than disturbing your pretty head over who your hubby sees or sleeps with.

Warn him to use protection to reduce the chance of bringing home stds and also warn if to do it far far away from you if he must and get busy builing your life.

I always feel like giving a deafening slap to any lady who says her man can never cheat on her cos this is the dumbest thing any lady can ever say.

If you are married stay married and dont give up your marriage for any mistress cos most times no man is ever ready to give up his wife for any sidde dish but it is these clueless wives that willingly give up their hubby for the side chic to take over and they usually end up with another randy man or worse still another married man thereby commiting same crime they left their hubby for with another married man.


Until women accept polygamy as part of a man makeup,they will always experience heartache and unhappiness.

like I always tell people that care to know; I will only take polygamy serious if/when polyandry is celebrated and accepted too. For whatever reason polygamy is celebrated, a woman needs much more but are not allowed by religion and society. Polygamy is simply greed and selfishness until a woman too can officially have numerous partners.
