ohaveez:As far as I know, Nigerian banks don't pay CAD directly. I went to the bank, they converted my tuition from cad to USD equivalent. The money was converted to cad along the way. I dunno the process inside out. Just go to the bank, they know how they do it. 1 Like |

YeToonde: The TRV he'll be issued this first time will not exceed the duration of his passport i.e. June 2016. This will lead to getting a study permit at POE expiring by June 2016 (irrespective of his program duration, because he can't be given a study permit linger than the duration of the TRV). However, upon renewal of his passport at Naija embassy in Ottawa, he can apply for a study permit extension to cover the remaining duration of his/her program. At this point, if he doesn't plan to leave Canada anytime soon, he could forget about applying for the TRV extension immediately. |

Applied for TRV (Online) on August 11, 2015 I did my biometrics on August 12, 2015 Medical Passed on October 9, 2015 Request for Intl Passport on October 21, 2015 Approval Mail and TRV on October 29, 2015 Thanks to everyone here for the Nigerian spirit of Camaraderie! Hello house, I got denied on the 8th September for insufficient funds (paper route) Now I reapplied on the 28th of October (paper route too) List of documents 1. All CIC forms 2. Proof of upfront medical 3. Bank statement of my sponsor 21 million naira balance and cash inflow of 110 million and outflow of 80 million in 4 months (the bank separated it into 2 months each) 4. Letter of reference from the bank stating that my sponsor has informed them of his intentions and he is the sole signatory to the account. 5. Letter of sponsorship from my sponsor (stamped at the high court with the receipt attached) 6. Undergraduate entrance scholarship 7. Admission letter 8. Letter from my parents stating that they are aware of my sponsors intent ( stamped at the high court with the receipt attached ) 9. Tax clearance, shares and proof of business registration 10. Official fee schedule 11. Waec certificate 12. High school transcripts and high school certificate N.b : I used a different sponsor from my first application. But my new sponsor is the spouse of my old sponsor and the old sponsor is also a share holder in the business. Is this going to affect me and is my application good ? Can the gurus in the house please help me review it asap |
