Everytime I watch the refugee situation in Syria just because All Basad the president has refused to bow out honourably.
I have a lot of respect for GEJ for accepting defeat even before the final result. For me I think this is patriotism at its height. I know a lot of ex presidents in Nigeria still alive who would have undermined the process for their selfish interest not minding if people would die
For this I salute the man GEJ even though I was his major critic because I wanted him to annihilate boko haram and their backers. I wanted him to deal decisively with the excesses of the CBN gov, the arrogance of some ministers and also prosecute some loud mouthed opposition.
I saw him as a self centered president but all that were wiped off when he let it go for national peace.
