I always read ur comments with keen interest. But I also at times wonder if we just post or comment just to book space as I notice the struggle for 1s to comment. Pls the truth is that once you are a president, you are still entitled to all your privileges but not at the fullness of it. Orderlies, cars, even salary is still yours. |

Everytime I watch the refugee situation in Syria just because All Basad the president has refused to bow out honourably. I have a lot of respect for GEJ for accepting defeat even before the final result. For me I think this is patriotism at its height. I know a lot of ex presidents in Nigeria still alive who would have undermined the process for their selfish interest not minding if people would die For this I salute the man GEJ even though I was his major critic because I wanted him to annihilate boko haram and their backers. I wanted him to deal decisively with the excesses of the CBN gov, the arrogance of some ministers and also prosecute some loud mouthed opposition. I saw him as a self centered president but all that were wiped off when he let it go for national peace. 3 Likes |

hassan85:When you talk like this it shows the world how narrow minded you are. It has got nothing to do with buhari you simply dont know what it means to be an ex president and what privileges one can enjoy being one. In your narrow mind you actually pictured him going fishing in a canoe every morning in Otueke Small minds everywhere in Nigeria |

Delafruita: So he would rather watch his fellow country men and women ridiculed the world over just because he must remain president. I tell you man the likes of GEJ are rare to come by. Just imagine what ordinary Cameroon, Benin, Ghana would have by been doing to our people fleeing there for safety. Boko by now would have been declared the official army of the opposition. Honestly we need to appreciate that man GEJ for letting go. |
