Olisa metuh has said it all......nothing more to add.
Only that posterity will judge the brainless idiats who brought the daura braindead du.l.lard to power.

Do u expect him to lie or what? Dis are realities, d PDP have vandalise d resources of dis country, billions have beenlooted and mismanaged. 70% of total govt revenue is from oil, unfortunately d price of oil has drop to about $47 per barrel. How do u expect him to fill dis deficit, after all he met an almost empty treasury, high debt profile.. Let's try to be objective and sincere enuf in our criticism.

I disagree with Metuh on this one,PMB's comments are proper for the moment.Do you think investors are not aware that corruption is widespread in Nigeria?Travel around the world and read comments about Nigeria in the past ten years and you will get the opinion of foreigners. Some are even advised to be careful when coming to Nigeria. So even if PMB likes let him praise Naija from head to toe the foreign investors and bankers who know the pattern of looting and cash flow/money laundering from Nigeria know the truth. What they want is a leader who would boldly come out and state the problem and won't bury his head in the sand by glorifying corruption by saying stealing is not corruption. They want a leader who can tell them the bitter truth and say he is doing something about it.Or you think JayZ that cruised on Kolla Aluko's yatch does not know the money was stolen through Dizzy baby? The Indonesian leader does not hide it when he mentions the havoc drug trafficking is causing in Indonesia but he accepts something is being done.PMB is right by acknowledging the problem or the investors will continue to think it's an 'old boy how now lie lie president' we still have.Wailers I expect more wailing in reaction to this but the truth is bitter. There is endemic corruption, branding or no branding, manipulation of statistics by voodoo economists or propagandist like Olisah Metuh to deceive foreigners the way they tried to bamboozle Nigerians will not work.Baba let them know you know the problem and you are fixing it!
You don't understand. It is basic psychology. What you say is what you are. As a leader what you say is where you go. This is why you lead. The negativity is for the public to portray not leadership because in circles it portrays an inability to contain and handle. It sounds like an admission of failure. Leadership should not be given to emotional outbursts. The Indian PM wouldn't come to Nigeria and reel out his challenges with rape and 'beefgate' or Obama in Kenya telling them about the frustrations with the Republicans, NRA and gun laws even though we know all these. They will eat him alive back home. Buhari is the chief law enforcement officer but he is also the chief marketer and he will be judged on both so it requires wisdom to strike the right balance. That is why I say this anti-corruption thing is not all there is to do.

How about analyzing the challenges, itemizing what he has put in place to overcome them? My brother, it will do you good to think properly-outside the PDP/APC box

Nobody is saying he should lie, read Metus piece-i guess you comment from reading the topic.

How abt blaming PDP for all the woes and corruptions then explaining what he has put in place to overcome all the challenges?

This is what we call positive opposition, with meaningful contribution, instead of looking for where to hear the sound of bomb, so that you can go to media with it, it is better you look for something that will help the general public, apc was never an opposition, they were hate mongers.

He pays his taxes (from the plant) IN Tanzania. Nigeria will gain very little. Dangote takes the cake. He is a Nigerian but to Tanzania he is a foreign investor. You need them.

I hate it when people say Buhari is a man of integrity. Do you guys know what integrity is?

If you look carefully and remove Propaganda you will see that Buhari is as corrupt a any other Nigerian Politician.

The problem of Nigeria was never PDP but our Politicians and I can see the most corrupt of them all waving their brooms and shouting change.

No hope for this country at all.

You don't need foreign investment abi. That is what OBJ said and started doing from 1976. By 1999 he was on his knees begging them to come. In the past one year 90 percent of my revenue has come from overseas as Nigerian component declines so I am not affected at all by the economy. Metuh is just too politically mature than Lai Mohammed. Issue based and not personality base. GEJ will never tell the world that all Nigerians are corrupt because is PhD understands the implication, but when a Man with a miracle certificate is ruling, all the xtics of the certificate will reflect worldwide. APC lack direction. Its seems Obama have signed a treaty with our president that he must report all is activities in Washington DC every month, and must only talk to foreign media and not ours, since all our media house are corrupt. Am also sure PMB import the food he eats because all our foods are corrupt

Its so difficult to comprehend some peeps mind set..so don't waste your time with them....If ones child fail an exam, the parent keeps telling the child he is the best, thereby encouraging him to do better, and eventually he will get better.Take cech republic for example,my nephew schools there and told me point blank its better than living in western Europe, but my thought about the country has always been of a country of lawlessness after their separation. The president needs to be making positive comments about the nation anytime he travels out.

Mr President is being realistic about recent happenings in the country. If Mr pre. would have to be diplomatic, it is not in this circumstance where we are looking for way out of our economic predicament.

growing up we were taught sound education and having good grades is a requirement to be successful in future but now since we all consented to a certificate less person to be our president who is comfortable showing he has F9 in mathematics...a bad precedence as been laid for coming generations who will believe if a certain person can be president having no certificate or F9 they too can be President...in turn we have mediocrity as the order of the day...
End time things

there are some comments that are absolutely worthless replying too. Even America still woos investors into their country and yet someone says Nigeria doesn't need investors. India has a large pool of foreign investors because of their cheap labor and large populations. Bros ,replying someone that says Nigeria doeant need investors is a bloody waste of time

We are a country of fake people. No wonder makeup business is a multi million naira industry as of today. Rather than let the world know how hopelessly malnourished PDP administration has made the country for a long time, you prefer Baba telling white lies to make up for the inconsistences.
There are two people one must never lie to in this world, Doctors and Lawyers. In this case, Doctors are the Indians who could help us, (and they actually did) and the foreign investors who may plead our cause positively. It is good to attract the ones with integrity anyway, not like that PDP has often magnetized to help corner our wealth to their country.
We all should stand with Buhari on the state of the nation, because it is a stand for truth.

Abeg I have a deal going down with the Indians later this month. I hope both parties are not in the same world as this as I am not part of Nigeria's problems at all whether broadcast or hidden. It just doesn't help. We have international rating bodies all over, international risk advisors, they have their nationals living and working here in Nigeria. We don't need to pour petrol on our embers. It is not wise.
