Please a quick one; having completed a year course in Canada and have obtained a year work permit, can one renew this work permit before the expiration date as he's still working? If yes, how many years can one get?

LEMME START OFF BY STATING THAT I'M A COMMITED FOLLOWER OF THIS THREAD. I'VE MANAGED TO READ MOST SEQUELS OF "TRAVELLING TO CANADA" AND I'M QUITE SURE THE ANSWER I'M SEARVHING FOR IS INSCRIPTED IN ONE OF THE PARTS BUT FOR TIME SAKE, I NEED A DIRECT ANSWER HERE.

The letter of purpose and every other letters(introduction, recommendation, sponsorship..etc), are they to be written in ink then scanned (& uploaded) or typed in say, Ms word then uploaded?

Am I to understand that all the files to be uploaded should be done in one file(pdf)? how so?
