You could use vitalcheck website for expedited service. Mine was ready in 8 days. Theres a website for El Paso birth records. U can Google "epcounty birth records". I kept checking it daily after delivery and once I saw my baby's name had been registered there, I went in person to pick it up same day for $23.

@Oyin3 thanks to @Dentale, this is exactly what we do here in El paso. I have been checking the website everyday for my Baby's name to come out.

For those planning to travel with their naija cards, just got an email from zenith bank saying that the monthly limit is now $1000. Not sure if it's the same for other banks, but it's looking like cash is still the best option. And if you have money, start buying dollars now cos it usually skyrockets in December.

Just search "fort bend County birth certificate" scroll down and click on " search" den select birth certificate and key in your child's name. This is for fortbend County.

You had your baby in WHMC which is under Harris County. This is not applicable to you.

Since it's up to one week, I think it should be ready. I applied online with vital statistics during my last missionary journey when I was still a JJC, and it cost me $53 with shipping. I don't think it worth it. Plus stress of faxing your plenty means of ID to them.
Just go to the county office at 8000 N stadium Dr, Houston TX, dey open from 8am. The county office is quite close to the passport agency from Google map. You can book your appointment with passport agency say 10-11am, go to County office early, pick up birth certificate, head to passport agency asap, apply for passport. By so doing, you v achieved the two same day instead of going for that far journey twice. Abeg no stress yourself too much, and hope you are feeling better now.

I assume it's d Houston passport agency

For Birth certificate, you just walk in and pick up the birth certificate with $23, your ID and the paper given to you in the hospital for collection. Then for passport agency, call 18774872778 and book appointment. It's an automated machine so follow instructions and pick appointment date and time.

CS was being considered but thank God at the end of d day it was VD
The hink is 4.7kg
Mother and baby doing great
