Chukwudi44, come and have a good laugh at Omenka, midolian, egift, Beremx, NgeneUkwenu etc.

I would only support Saraki's prosecution when I know that all the other accused politicians be it Amaechi, Fashola, Atiku, Obasanjo, Jonathan, TA Orji, Akpabio, Aregbesola etc will all go down. If anybody can assure me of that, then I will personally champion Saraki's prosecution. Until then, say no to witch hunting.

before you celebrate :

"The order of Justice John Fabiyi-led five-man panel of the apex court followed a concession given by the Federal Government’s counsel, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), for the proceedings of the tribunal to be halted if Saraki’s main appeal would be given an accelerated hearing."

Trial was halted for the outcome of the appeal court on the condition that the hearing will be accelerated.

Take it or leave it , you benefactor would be jailed if convicted.

nothing to be happy about.

The stay of proceedings was for the outcome of his appeal to be known.

Does this call for celebration or.wailing?

When will corrupt politicians be thrown in jail in this country?

The sad part is that you will see many youths who think they know too much, celebrating this as if they won a lottery.

Totally not cool. The Judiciary should not hamper the War on Corruption in anyway.

Saraki knows if his case is trailed, he will be found guilty. So from day one his is fighting tooth and nails to stop and movement on this case.
so in your own mind and understanding, its proper to use a corrupt means to punish a corrupt official! So, who will end the cycle of corruption?

I think you missed the message too.

What the Supreme Court has done is to "hold" his trial pending determination of his prayers by the highest court. It's not that Saraki's trail should be discontinued.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered stay of proceedings of the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on 13 counts of false assets declaration.

In a unanimous decision read by Justice Fabiyi, the apex court ordered the tribunal “to tarry awhile.

Whether or not your opponent takes you to court is a none issue. What is important is are you guilty or not? Now to avoid anyone finding the truth by all possible means is also very bad.

Lol people aren't really smart on this forum sha... It's just temporary pending the appeal.. Same thing was done when he went to the appeal court. Did you really think the SC would allow the two two matter to run at the same time? I bet some people didn't even read the article

Information reaching me now says that NGENEKWENU, PASSINGSHOT, BEREMX have fallen into COMMA.
Read the news again but very slowly this time. Than,,you'll understand that his trail at CCT is still intact. What the SC has said is that the CCT should "tarry a while" pending the determination of Saraki's prayer on the constitution of the CCT judges.

Make una read to comprehend.

It's all manipulations. He has allowed Amaechi to become Minister, now they are looking for soft landing. Truth is, Saraki's trial has ended, and so has the war against corruption, afteral, the Driver General has become Minister of Transportation despite tipper loads of fraud allegation against him.

In Nigeria, dont steal little, steal large and big, so big that you can buy their whole Court System and their Sheriff, then walk tall, the street will call you Chairman. Do not call yourself a criminal, Crime is how this world was created.

Cretinous fuuktard and your fellow cretinous fuuktards, don't be confused based on the erroneous reporting by a product of a failed education system calling himself a journalist, Ade Adesomoju of the Punch.

The cretin reported a "Stay" of judicial process as "Halt" of judicial process.

Fuuktard, "stay" is different from "halt" even though this moronic, quack, cretin called Ade Adesomoju called it that in his headline.

A stay just means that the higher court wants to do some things before deciding if and how the case would progress.

Halting is misintepreted as some dismissal or disapproval of the case by the senior judges.

Halting can be temporary or permanent. Hence why this cretin called Ade Adesomoju should have used "Hold" if he did not want to use "Stay".

This is not the first time I am noting this quack misreporting news.

Ade Adesomoju
