Zaragirl, lol!! Its funny how we generalize issues. There are still real men. Maybe your yet to meet them. An average guy will equally say there are no more wives these days. We seem to be in a conundrum. Moral decadence is at an all time high. Men and women alike are carried away by fleshly desires. Am no saint. No, never. Am only trying to make common sense.

I believe you need to spend more time with the opposite sex. Definitely you will meet one or two that share same values as you do. Locking ourselves away from the world because we are yet to find our so-called 'taste' is suicidal. To attract the right people start by being the right person. The law of attraction is real and active.

Yesterday I went to a ladies place apparently her brother or sumthing came and we caught glances @ eachoda...the guy was very cute and his accent..mehn I tripped for him. I became very uncomfortable at his presence so I left for the backyard..not quite long he came there and was talking to his niece (I guess) immediately he came to the backyard I went inside before I realise my actions I was already inside...the way I was evading his parents was like he was so pest funny enough he is so cute and I cnt breathe wen he is around...lol ....joking#.

Point is I don't knw how to stay around opp sex am not more of dat free funky gal...have got ex tho but dey were my best friends before boyfriend so u cn imagine...it wasnt all dis "hi baby" kind of relatnship.

Btw! Am taking my tym for a relatnship am not going to rush it...am not looking for one more heart break.......am patient

I recently got close to a good friend of mine who is married, I see him beyond my frnd I see him as a mentor, a best friend name it! But not anything ungodly cos have registered in my heart dat dis man is married and I so locked off my feelings and focus on being friends, I like him a lot but love was far from it.

Myself and dis dude got close, another reason why I got close to him was because he was extremely intelligent and he motivate me and advises me, career, etc so I hold him in high esteem. As we got closer I discovered he likes slim fair pretty ladies so he told me he liked me a lot I took dat to be a compliment. I got to see the picture of his wife she was a chubby dark lady the complete inverse of his attraction. He married the lady because she was very intelligent and she was a woman of God.

Our friendship has got really close and I got use to him, I like him cos each tym we are together it's always memorable (no strings pls) so we enjoy moment cos we talk abt books and other stuffs funny experience too but now things has gone out of hand I think he grow feelings for me, I knew dis a while ago but I felt he will outgrow it but dats not happening, he calls too often dat my mum gets to wonder if I hav now a boyfriend lol

We had a misunderstanding yesterday and I got mad and walked out cos he was shouting, and I was beginning to feel embarrassed because we were on the road. So I walked out and didn't pick his numerous calls afterwards he called and called till midnight, through early morning again and pleaded with text msg and said he loves me ...I didn't respond because am confused, I like him and I need him but he is a married man and he is having a silly crush on me, should I just leave him or talk him out of his feelings

NB he also teaches me and assist me in the subjects I find challenging. Pls romancelanders wat do u advise #no bashing pls

Zaragirl, your personality is becoming clearer now. Am equally introverted. However, my profession brings me into contact with people. I had no choice but to adapt. One of the most potent laws of nature is the law of adaptation.

Keeping away from the real world will only do you more harm. Social media is great, but most people ain't who they claim to be. Meeting people in real life remains the best. Good to know your the religious type. You could start from your local church. At first it may not be easy but with time you'll find it more pleasing meeting people.

The only rules that keep us from enjoying life are those we make for ourselves. In your school, church, neighborhood etc there great people with beautiful minds waiting to mingle. You will only meet them when you leave your comfort zone. Ain't saying you should go friend hunting, just be a little bit more relaxed. Let go of your self consciousness. Smile a lot. It's incredibly attractive. A life without a true friend is most miserable of all lives. Live. Laugh. Mingle. Love.
