Hello, Sorry for the trouble I don't think those apartment close to WHMC will conclude booking without talking deposit due to the fact that you don't have an established credit here in the states and also been an international clients. Infact i don't think any apartment will. I know a real estate agent who can try to help you but due to NL policy I don't know if i can share that here. I pray you get one soon wish you the very best.

friend:
My people, The apartment I intend to use is requesting for $400 deposit before they can conclude the booking with me.
Please assist with another one I can use without deposit.
I need the one close to WHMC
Thank you

Why not just use google or Craigslist. TripAdvisor may be very expensive. but the best for some is www.airbnb.com

CRAIGSLIST!!! Each time I hear craigslist I remember how someone sliced someone's belly to steal baby, or how someone was robbed and shot dead trying to buy or sell a car. Pardon me, grin av inherited Neks31 vivid imagination, but please, no, not craigslist!!!

You can try gumtree.com though, airbnb also works well

Craigslist is a NO NO abeg.
airbnb.com will collect their money upfront too I think because I used it recently and Gtb placed the money on hold immediately I did the booking. cool

You have to read up or use the search button. People used doctoresperati more in part one and two but I think Nogen used more recently. U can click on her profile to read up.

If you read well, you will know you prob may not be able to use doctoresperati's correspondence for your interview for higher chance of success.

Since you are a stay at home mom, I advice you to take part 1-3 of the thread as office work. Resume at 9 close at 5. In two days you should be done and ready to ace your exams interview. Best of luck

I didn't use doctorparati for anything o my sister. Had a running visa before pregnancy. I only informed the embassy of my intention to use the visa for birthing purpose. For the POE, I used Dr. Yolanda ' s letters.

Good evening people, has anyone used lufthansa before? Im flying lufthansa. Did you use the printable form on their site or did you get the fit to fly letter straight from your hospital?
Also, is there anyway i can get a fit to fly letter from somerwhere else other than where I had my ante natal? My hospital is asking for 10k for the letter; this is after I paid 25k for a "doctors letter" for when I expedited my appointment. I rly dont want to pay 10k for a fit to fly letter.

Thanks All on the baby cot suggestions. I was really referring to an actual location where you can buy. What I see on those online stores are quite pricy.

Guess I'll try Westminster then

Before you head out, try olx
Then gauge your distance to jankara mkt as enyinne has sed or westminster in Apapa. I got mine on olx for 15k and the vendors delivered to my doorstep infact brought like 4 for me to select.

I got the apartment where i stayed from craigslist. If its a sub lease, in an apartment complex, you will go through the apartment leasing office, that way you will know its genuine because you have to sign documents and all that. If its a private stand alone house then i would say No no or be very careful.

It all depends. It's not a must u hv to hv fit to fly from ur Dr as the port health fit to fly is enough to cover u which u can get for 2k at d airport and most airline accept it.that is what I used as my Dr wanted to charge me 10k for mine which I refused

Good evening house, i want to know my chance applying for a b1/b2 visa with my 2 years old son. My wife put to bed last week in Houston, she applied alone because we have been denied before as a family. Now i am thinking of reapplying to visit her during the Christmas Holiday. I am concern because i would love to go with my son who is just 2 years old.

I would say, " nothing ventured, nothing gained" just apply and pray for Gods grace. Do you have solid ties here at home that can convice them that you guys would come back home? Remember to go with a photo copy of your wife passport and all the other burden of proof. All the best

Hello , Just checking where you able to open the bank account?

Thanks Bbiz.

I haven't been to the specified bank yet but visited BOAmerica and Wells Fargo for their personal and children's account.

For the children's account I'll need the baby's SSN but I can fund the account from Nigeria.

I will give an update once I'm done with the enquiries. Hopefully, after my doctor's appointment on Friday.

Thanks for checking up.

Regards.

Oh okay! I still think you should go to BBVA Compass cos they don't ask for service charges. which will really work well while you are in nija. I have an account with chase was paying $12 for monthly charge in nija and still do till now. I had to open BBVA myself. I like chase because of the face that they are in every location and they do quick pay. For the baby's account i don't thing any of the banks charges. hope to hear the good news.

I used Lufthansa two days ago and I didn't use the form from their site. Just gave them the one from my doctor. I don't think it must be from yor Doctor cos they didn't ask. They just made a photocopy and gave back my original.

Abeg o. Where can I buy baby cot at competitive pricing in Nigeria? Original plan was to buy from US but that's out of it now

If you are willing and able to go to Balogun market in Lagos, provided you reside in Lagos. ask for the baby stuff section, you will get a good one, bought one 5yrs ago and it is still in good price was 20k, so give or take extra 10 or 15k you should be able to get one. Greetings to Madam and the LO.

I m comparing peds 4my baby thus d question. On my list, I v St mary's specialist (omole), lifeline children hospital (Surulere), pediatric partners Ltd (ligali Ayorinde VI), The shepherd medical centre (opebi). Anybody wit reviews pls?

I and another Mama, gave reviews on Shepered Medicals. They are tested and trusted and solely a children's hospital. Doctors on ground at any time, I usually take my son before 6am (cos of work)whenever the need arises and there is always a doc available. Good Luck.

I opened Wells Fargo in Naples, Florida with $300 no monthly charge. But after I did, A friend said i should have used BOA casue they have more benefits than wells Fargo, Me didnt bother, I just opened that without monthly charges and left it at that. In Naples, wells fargo and Chase are everywhere. But in the city where you are, it might be different. So walk into any closest to you and make inquiries.

Let Her send you a copy of her visa and data page. Tell them your wife has a visa already and they will ask you for the docs i mentioned. And you and your son will be issued a visa. Again, always target the visa officer that if for example, interviews 10 persons, He/ She (mostly He) approves say 7 or 8. That's the person that will issue you your visa. Its serious and perfect timing cause you just have to be smart. I wont give out more info here o! please. God speed and congrats!
