superstar1:I heard that the victory went to the Yorubas in Kogi state. Is Faleke a Yoruba name? I don't know why it's relevant for tribe to be mentioned in this case scenario. I'm still wondering when Yorubas will rid themselves of the Saraki family in Kwara state. |

IlekeHD:Yeah he is yoruba. Ifa-leke. The tribe is relevant because Igbiras see Kogi State as their home state and they have the population to perpetrate themselves in power, except by divine intervention. You can't fault them. The Sarakis hold on Kwara State is a story for another day. |

superstar1:What's Yoruba's business with awon egbira? I thought they don't see themselves as Yorubas, hence my question, why is it a victory for Yoruba people? |
| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by superstar1(m): 4:32pm On Nov 23, 2015 |
IlekeHD:I don't know where you got that from. They are a separate ethnicity. Though, due to their proximity to yorubaland, there has been acculturisation over the centuries. They ain;t yoruba in anyway. |

superstar1:It is not the Ebiras, it is the Igalas, you meant to say... Okun & Ebira are in the minority in the state... Ilekehd, Tribe is the NO1 factor in ANYTHING in this contraption, The Igalas will rather hell rain down than willingly give their votes to one that doesn't belong to them.... I was laughing when people were Crucifying both parties for presenting their SIX & HALF A DOZEN but both parties knew the race will be DOA if they dare present anyone that isn't Igala in Kogi .. Politics is a game of Nos, any political party will think of the individual who has the clout to command the nos & clean up the person's image |

superstar1:I'm trying to understand what's going on right now with the whole Audu vs Faleke sheninigans. Here's a post from a nler NaijaTalkTown:If Igalas truly feel that the Yorubas/Tinubu killed Audu to pave way for a Yoruba man, shouldn't they ignore the religious rite and do an autopsy on Audu's body? I'm trying to get a sense of what's going on. |

IlekeHD:Ileke, sorry...I've been trying to figure out the meaning of the "HD" after "Ileke". Does it stand for "High Definition" or "Hannah Dideolu" or something? Would you mind disclosing it? I really need to stop trying to figure it out. |
| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by IlekeHD: 4:42pm On Nov 23, 2015 |
modath:But it's not like Yorubas are trying to dominate anyone. We're quiet peaceful loving folks. And how dare someone even tries to bring up Lagos state. Igbos were never natives of Lagos state, Yorubas on the other had own a part of Kogi state, so we deserve the national cake too ![]() |

IlekeHD:Sincerely, I care less. That is APC's headache. Why on earth will the party or even INEC not ask for certificate of sound health from contestants? |

superstar1:Well said superstar, But you seem to forget the duly elected part of that provision, all you said can come into play if and only if the party's candidate has been declared duly elected. As it stands now, with inec declaring the election inconclusive, a gap has been thrown up without any provision being made for it by the constitution. Faleke cannot pull an ''Atiku/Boni Haruna'' on this because the election is still on going, he can go court to substitute his name for audu-which also is another legal drama entirely-, The APC can also go to court to request for replacement of candidate, PDP can go to court to enforce it's right as the runner up and lastly, all or either of the parties involved(INEC, APC and PDP) can request for outright cancellation. In the end, all will have their say and day in court and we'll probably witness another landmark judgement. My take though... |

superstar1:lmao are you just distancing yourself from APC [I don't blame you] or have you been doing that for a while? Something tells me that a lot of Nigerians don't care about health until the homeostasis of their physiology becomes unbalanced. TBH, me thinks they probably know and still used him to campaign for the face of APC... but I don't think it's because Tinubu wants to install Yoruba in Kogi, else he'd have started with Kwara state [80% Yorubaland (Kwara) vs 20% Yorubaland (20%)]. |

IlekeHD:I have never been a fan of APC'S. I supported GMB because I believe in him. Actually, it was only Audu that could have displaced Wada in Kogi. |

| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by superstar1(m): 5:12pm On Nov 23, 2015 |
IFELEKE:Yeah you are right. It is subjected to the interpretation of Supreme Court. However, the Supreme Court has already established that the candidacy belongs to the party and not an individual. I believe based on that, the election can go ahead, except Supreme Court wants to contradict herself. |
