UgMartins1:Kindly wait till January to apply for visa appointment. The universities in Cyprus will start sending list towards December end to embassy. Is too early for you now. |

@penroll55... d Turkish embassy said they hv not started approving appointment request for spring semester 2015-2016 & I should send the name of school to them & I did. d CIU wrote me saying : Dear Martin, Kindly note that, we will send the student list to the Turkish Embassy in Abuja in Mid-December to support your visa application so I kindly advise you to visit Turkish Embassy to start your student visa process at this date accordingly. Best regards, Ms. Gizem Kavaz. my question is ...should I reapply for appointment by mid December or should i wait till book me pending when d school CIU send d list to embassy. |

UgMartins1:Wait till you confirm from Ciu your name has been sent before you book for appointment or you can book that mid December but to avoid having appointment date later confirm from the embassy your name is not there won't be cool,so confirm your name from the school first during mid December before applying. |

please I Really want to find out about the scholarship to study at north Cyprus.. Please |
| Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 8:53am On Nov 24, 2015 |
tollyB:You must have stable finances to support your education from day 1 to your last day in Cyprus. The expenses include tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses and some others like medical bills etc. You may be awarded 50% scholarship on tuition based on your grades. Meaning, after the scholarship you must be able to pay all other expenses which may range 4000-5000USD yearly. Jobs are relatively scarce in Cyprus you wont rely on that. If you are not financially ready as I have highlighted here, Please you have to re-plan! |

wip7:Thank you...But It's for my masters |
| Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 2:07pm On Nov 24, 2015 |
tollyB:Sir/madam, The scenerio for master is same for undergraduate. The master fees inclusive of scholarship ranges 4800-5500USD for whole program. Excluding accommodation, living expenses and others. In brief, ensure you either have full finances before you enter the Aeroplane or have stand-by sponsor. Best wishes! |

Oluwaskinny: Oluwaskinny:If you are actually ready to study and wont want agents to eat your money, you must be able to do proper research online and make sound decisions. South and North Cyprus are two different countries with different admission requirements and slightly same lifestyles. Both Countries used to be one before break-up and they are working to rejoin again but no one knows when. In terms of development and environment, both are almost in same level (I have visited both, so I know very well about this), however, the south have some more infrastructures and more foreign govt presence even though the north seems to be financially better currently than the south. Go to google, type the university in any of these countries and visit the web of the university for courses, fees and requirements......thats what a prospective student should do. Then, decide and follow up...if you need help in applying write the university (cos they are in the better position) or come over here to ask questions and get assisted. NOTE: Jobs are scarce in both countries and you must have stable finances to study abroad. Best wishes! |

kenlouis:You may email the registrar and include your application number so they can remind the department. Actually most of the departments evaluation team are busy these days due to exams which will be over this new week. So email the registrar or the concerned departments. |
