I have read Sugarbelly's accusations, your prior post detailing edited emails, then this Mrs. Audu rebuttal; the truth is, non of these proved that Sugarbelly's accusations are lies, neither did Sugarbelly's story proved that, she is telling the truth either.

But, one thing caught my attention in Mrs. Audu's rebuttal and that is her trying to curse Sugarbelly and wishing that all her accusations befall her in this life.

As Africans, we do not take curses likely and some often fall back to them to prove their innocence and to portray that, the other side is at fault, and the rest of us sometimes takes the one doing the cursing seriously, because it is usually seen as a two edged sword...and no one can purposely wish themselves harm by invoking curses and damination.

Surprisedly, if you read Mrs. Audu's curse, they are one sided and does not contain a test as to the truthfulness of the accusations...When I saw the topic heading about 'Mrs. Audu ....Cursing...' I was expecting to read her say it, the way we proclaim curses in Africa i.e. I was expecting to read something like...

"If my husband did not rape Sugarbelly (or cause her to be raped) as he is been accused, may all the ills that Sugarbelly is talking about befall her in this life, but if my husband raped or had a hand in her rape, may ills, bad furtunate, e.t.c befall my husband and may such happen to my future daughter"

Something along the above, will have given her curse more credibility, because she would been seen as having a stake in it depending on the side that is right.

You can now see, why some people, myself inclusive are on the fence on this matter; because there is nothing out there to collaborate each side and please, do not be too invested in this case...only Audu and Sugarbelly knew exactly what took place, and each side will attend to present their case in the best possible light, while withholding elements, testimonies or evidence that will put them in a bad light...this is natural and it is just the human nature, we are all created to preserve self first and there is nothing wrong with that.

Audu's wife need to keep quiet in this matter. In her anger and frustration she will make case worse for the husband.
