To the topic, I think the westerners need to really open their eyes to this very disadvantegeuos marriage called Nigeria. To be very clear, Buhari is to be thoroughly blamed for the recent agitation in the SE and SS, more especially after his 97% and 5% political blunder. Let us face reality, the entity called Nigeria was only created to serve the British and to enslave her forever by making the north who they saw they could totally control and manipulate, the overlord of the south. This is the simple but bitter truth. IPOB don't want war, just give us a referendum, is it too much to ask? Finally, if Buhari keeps going on like this and cannot even come out to address the nation on the recent critical happenings, then he may as well be putting the last nails to the coffin. My Yoruba peeps pls open ur eyes! Let us leave the north to their incurable madness of violence and insatiable quest for total dominance. God bless us all.

Unfortunately FG doesn't have much asset in SE/SS except oil well and few University and 3airports.

I guess there will be mass exodus of their people from Lagos to Igbo land. Makes perfect sense as there will be lots of job opportunities for them in their land.

Years of neglect and aftermath of the civil war, marginalization, irresponsible visionless governors and political miscalculations has indeed cost the south east the needed development. The result of their backwardness is the current time bomb called IPOB. They are a bunch of frustrated angry youths who have given up on life and see no reason to be patriotic to Nigeria due to their economic predicaments. Nnamdi Kanu capitalized on their single line of thoughts and vulnerability to manipulate them via hate speeches and his criminal broad casts.
What i feel the FG should implement now is the payment of the N5000 in the southeast region so as to make the youths happy and convince them further that they have a listening government. The money will go a long way in helping a lot of poor igbos who have given up on life. Secondly the FG should expedite the trial of Kanu and give him the desired punishments for his treasonable offences. If all these can be achieved, the biafran dream will be conquered and we can all live together as one Nigeria.

While a lot of us igbos are hustling, making money & building empires-from ladipo to ASPAMDA,Computer village, FESTAC town, Alaba International Market et al, some peeps are hallucinating about some imaginary paradise. . .very sad & pathetic
