unite4real:Land grabbing from which people?.. Those people there are Igbo sub groups they can decide what they want, while I decide mine in where I am. Until we have unified leaders. Then what we want will be collective. So I don't see any land grabbing here... How can Igbo groups be grabbing their land.? Even if it is grabbed an Igbo will still have the land. Abeg just leave that thing it doesn't hold. |

| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by Nobody: 11:07pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:Go and study what landlock means... Look at waterways that went into Igbo land that can be dredged to navigate big ships and docking ships... Igbo land can have as many ports as possible as there are strategic places the waterways from the sea touched Igbo land. Meanwhile will you also say Biafra is landlocked too.? |

AfricanFinest:Dredged through where? dredge river in another mans country? Lol |

https://www.nairaland.com/421192/not-igbo-ikwerre In the interview with President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ralph Uwechue, published in the Daily Sun March 10, the President was asked what efforts he was making to unite Igbo in Rivers and Delta states, he said: “First of all, it should be understood that these factions who now deny the fact they are Igbo did so only after the civil war; take for instance the Ikwerre people… fully identified with us during the pre-civil war era but because the Igbo lost the civil war, a kind of stigma was smeared on them making a lot of people to start adjusting their names to sound less Igbo…”. This statement is misleading and not correct. |

AfricanFinest:Landlocked: Definition A landlocked state or country is a sovereign state entirely enclosed by land, or whose only coastlines lie on closed seas.Describes igboland perfectly. No part of Igboland connects directly with the sea. |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by ezeaguisforever(m): 11:12pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:Name a Nigerian port that's directly on the sea. |

| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by scholes0(m): 11:16pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
ezeaguisforever:Igboland is landlocked, not on the premise of it having or not having navigable rivers, but rather because it is completely surrounded by Nigerian land and waterways. |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by ezeaguisforever(m): 11:23pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:Okay, so with Nigerias coastline, can you please name a port that's directly on Nigerias coastline? |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by Nobody: 11:25pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:The definition should now guide your utterances... You can now go back to your pics and count the locations where the waterways of the sea touched Igbo lands and the one that transverses through Igbo land. You can tell me how many locations you counted. And if any, what it means. |

AfricanFinest:Its in Nigeria so how would you dredge through Nigerian territory |

| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by scholes0(m): 11:35pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
AfricanFinest:Are you smart at all? No part of Igboland has direct Ocean access. It is entirely surrounded by other parts of Nigeria Be it Land or Water. |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by scholes0(m): 11:37pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
ezeaguisforever:All Nigeria's ports are located either in sheltered estuaries or on Barrier islands, These locations are called "Natural Harbors" in Geography- and are the best locations for seaports. But the point is that they are all surrounded by Nigerian territory, no matter how short the distance is to open oceans. |

sleekdot:Don't be a fool. So Igbo's are no more Nigerians, they are cameroun or Gabon. Have never seen this kind of idiotism. |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by ezeaguisforever(m): 11:41pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:So Port Harcourt, Sapele, Warri and Calabar are in sheltered estuaries and islands? Second question, you believe Port Harcourt can be legally blocked from the sea, no matter what country it's in? |
| Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked by Nobody: 11:41pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
scholes0:That's not the definition of landlocked. May be you should call that waterlocked too, I think it will make a lot of sense. That's why I told you that you should let that definition of yours guide you... As anything you add or remove when making assertions will alter the definition of a landlocked state. Which you have just did. |

AfricanFinest:Is this based on some kind of assumption that iboland shall remain an integral part of Nigeria and shall never be or have anything to do with biafra as a sovereign territory...? |
