Olaolufred: ^^^Let's just assume for arguments sake that Biafra will be limited to just the present 5 South East states, and that Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta states will elect to remain in Nigeria with you lot! Now tell me, assuming Biafra wants to dredge up to Obuaku and are prepared to pay internationally acceptable tolls for their ocean-going ships to pass through Nigerian territory.....tell me why the peoples and state gov'ts of these Niger Delta states mentioned will want to listen to Igbo haters (we know who they are) who will instruct them to cooperate in frustrating the newly emerged nation so they suffer economically? Bear in mind that -unlike before- these states and peoples will now be free to leave Nigeria at any time they so choose, unlike what is presently the case where we all are being compelled to be Nigerians through the barrel of a gun! Tell me why the average Opobo man, Bonny man, Oron man, Annang man, Efik man and Ibibio man will listen to anyone telling them to frustrate Ndigbo economically just for the fun of doing so? You now see how hollow your argument sounds? 5 Likes |

A simple activity that will put paid to all these antagonism, hatred, backbiting and unnecessary propaganda. Just in any case you dont know, the people will go where their interests are best served. That's the key. As at press time, Nigeria offers 13% Derivation whereas Biafra is offering 100% full resource control. Whats your argument all about? The real purpose for the continued existence of One Nigeria today is because the survival of the North and the Southwest depends on oil revenue from the South-East and the South-South. Remove the oil and everything will fall apart. 2 Likes |

IGBOSON1:its even easier to get obuaku seaport in biafra than in nigeria. Coming to the argument of whether SS will follow biafra or not. Even if SS ends up not following biafra, theres no way they will want to remain with nigeria on seeing the emergence of biafra. SS may end up splitting into fragments and trust me, there's no way some part of south south will not join biafra, some in Nigeria and some on their own. Nigeria always think south south will happily follow Nigeria, keep dreaming. 3 Likes |

Seems nobody wants Nigeria no more. #MadamKOO BELOW IS THE EMAIL I RECEIVED TODAY FROM A MR ADEOYE In what will be a short message to you Madam Kemi Nkemi Omololu Olunloye, by a crying wounded heart of mine through some of your activities on social media. Truly this world should be a free one to express his or her greviences and exercise their rights, but still some of this acts could be hurting in some ways and could be costly in other ways...all these am referring to yoruba issues you engaged with your fans on facebook of which am one of them- I Adebuzuyi Adewest. Be that as it may. I most say i love your spirit, courage, ruggedity, positive aggressionsand so on ever since i joined your facebook page some weeks ago andits my pleasure to meet iron woman like you. Now to the main reason ofthe mail is to call your attention on the voices calling for the actualisation and realisation of Oduduwa nation under the 'movement for Oduduwa Republic'. Though i don't know if you have heard of this but i like to inform you that many works have began by the actors of the movement and still making some processing as it goes. In case you not aware that the late oba Sijuwade the Ooni of ile ife was pursuaded and accepted and bless the movement for oduduwa nation to perform and acquire it sovereighty as a nation from fake and expired Nigeria. Also there is a site where peoplelocated on the map of Oduduwa are to sign the independent referendumpetition,to be submitted to the UN. A meeting was called which iattended in Ibadan sometime in the middle of this year, and thediscussed was the road map for the realisation of our yet to bornnation ODUDUWA REPUBLIC with 'oduduwa customary system of government'as the top talk in the meeting.Unfortunately, ma despite the efforts of these actors and agitatorslike me the movement lack much attention in reaching out to the peopleof Oduduwa nation trapped in fabricated Nigeria. Our people stillbelieve in the word ONE NIGERIA and the ego seem will never fadeout, despites the injustice been done on us and other nations by thebritish-hausa fulani owned Nigeria.Ma just as you know it is our rights to exercise self determination and sovereignty as a nation under the international Rights law and Declaration of Universal Human Rights, which are clearly stated in their articles that not much educated persons like could read and understand.Ma it is on these reasons i beg and plead to you to please give support and blessing for this great enterprise ODUDUWA REPUBLIC...Nigeria is fake and expired since december 2014,which gave rights to any nation to go their ways if neccesary. Your voice is strong and you are a mighty international public figure. Your records showed that and i would be most greatful if you could have a second thought on helping this course of our rights to free our citizens from bondage for better future security and securing the heritage and culture of our nation.Awareness and attention are what i beg of you ma.. As an ordinarycitizen of Oduduwa nation of Nigeria i ve no gold, diamond or money togive (because you have all these and more by God's grace) to you inhelping creating the needed awareness and attention. Note ma that am note the main actor of this movement,as i am just a supporter,self-determine activist and agitator for freedom Also for official information on the progress so far i can link you up with the president of the MOVEMENT FOR ODUDUWA REPUBLIC of Mr Goerge Akinola Thanks and God bless you as you take your time to reading this mail. Once again it my pleasure and look forward to hearing from you. Longlive Biafra and Oduduwa Republic!! I have even checked the dude's Facebook page, see pix below

IGBOSON1: I am enjoying this theoretical class. Nigeria's interest is number one. Biafra's river port is secondary. Whether you chose to accept it or not, you can not dredge the 55 kilometer runs of the river within Nigeria without its approval. Thanks for being a professor. 1 Like |

I suggest folk google Dried Rivers. also colorado dries. The assumption that the River Niger is a PERMANENT feature of our geography is naive. A northern Nigeria separate from the south can divert the Niger from the south completely ,Niger can do it and other countries can too. Honestly the real surprise is why they have not done so already. Niger Republic could divert tthe whole river and create an agricultural paradise in the desert. I can only assume they have not done so because of funds. The only other dredging I can think of is to create a channel of sea water going in from the Atlantic into Aba .Naturally sensible people will want to know the potential consequences of such a move not to mention cost. 1 Like |

IGBOSON1: Actually I do not know whether they will go with Nigeria. So also I do not know whether they will go with the theoretical Biaf. But I know Rivers Govt renounced any support for protest like they did not support the biaf in 1967. But I know Cross Rivers did not support the biaf in 1967, neither has there been any overtures in support of same in 2015. However, Rivers or Akwa Ibom must be in biaf for the title of this thread to stand. Else, biaf will only be celebrating a river port, not sea port. So sorry if you are in any way offended. 1 Like |

omonnakoda: i dont see why they'd divert the entire river and even if they did, it still has to flow south, just that there'd be a lot of displacement of people. likewise whatever is done to niger can also be done to benue via cameroon, so its still the same hypothetical scenario. |

Olaolufred: ^^^There you go making assumptions again! You're assuming said Rivers and Cross River will listen to bad-belle people like you to ban ships bound for Biafra from passing through the Bight of Bonny as it's now known! Just like with the Suez and Panama canals where foreign owned and bound ships pass through and pay a toll to the Panama and Egyptian govt's respectively, all that may be required is a toll to use the Bight of Bonny water way.....nothing more! You're also still assuming that these Niger Delta states will remain with Nigeria! Somehow i don't see my cousins from Opobo or Bonny listening to wicked suggestions from hateful people like you or giving two fuc/ks about what you think of their relationship with their Igbo cousins! Attached video is of international ships passing through the Panama Canal after paying the necessary fees! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shWrzvNGLdw 1 Like |
Re: My Trip To The Proposed Seaport Site In Abia State by omonnakoda: 2:58pm On Dec 10, 2015 |
tpiar:No it does not have to flow south. Where do you get that from? The Nile flows north as do many other rivers . Take time to educate yourself before speakin. The simple reason for diverting rivers is irrigation and drinking. The Niger can be used to convert much of Niger and Mali from dessert to farmlands The reason we are digging boreholes is because we are not industrialized. Read about Fomi multipurpose project in Guinea where the River starts Industrialized countries drink river water and with 4 or more countries upstream before Nigeria anything can happen. Go and see what happened to the once mighty Colorado river. The Benue River arises in the Adamawa plateau very close to and in Nigeria and it is a minor river relatively Go and read the 2008 Niger Basin Water Charter. There are many stakeholders in the River Niger |
