So, Bolu, have you ever had an addiction? I mean one that wasn't healthy in many ramifications. One that was acting as a hindrance to you in achieving your set goals and things that were required from you as, a person, maybe in a certain area or field. How did you handle it?
If you haven't had an addiction, what in your opinion is the best way to handle addictions, especially the extreme kind.

If you were to choose between what was socially and morally acceptable, or doing what you loved and what you yearned to do, which would you choose?

Would you prefer to please yourself rather than please society? Would you sacrifice your happiness on the altar of; "doing the right thing?". What ground does religious and moral principles hold, in your day to day decision making?

Yes! I'd rather not tell you what it was. Two actually. One wasn't really an addiction to be honest... I didn't handle it very well. I had amazing support from my friends. Ehm. I went to therapy for a couple of years. It didn't really work for me cause I stayed in the denial stage. I knew there was a problem but I would never acknowledge this was something happening to me.. If you get me. It was like I was living someone else's life or watching a movie. Even the select few people that know always tell me I'm completely detached from the situation.

I think having people you can completely be vulnerable with and trust is the biggest thing. And it helped me Anyways.

Ehm I'm a mix of both really. I do whatever I want. But sometimes I like that there's morals holding me back cause honestly I know too many ways to murder people and get away with it. Well I'd feel very guilty as well. I'm too spontaneous for me to calculate what I'd do.

In matters that concern me and only me I please myself. I don't bother too much about society. But I'd rather not hurt someone's feelings or have a negative impact in someone's life. But in a matter of looking pretty for people or going out in my pjs and being comfortable. Bleep it my pjs are comfy.

Ehm things don't usually affect my happiness. I've learned that happiness will only come from you and everything that seems to make you happy is always temporary. So, if the right thing to do would damage my happiness then j wasn't really happy in the first place. If you get me.

You went for therapy? Was it that serious. You know, here in Nigeria, people don't actually go for therapy unless it's a really serious condition, unlike you guys abroad.

Yea, it's always nice to have people who you can be vulnerable around and who understand you and are ready to provide the needed support, assistance and encouragement.
