i will like to get something clear, you want to file for both of you at the same time, even when you are not in Belgium, well with my little knowledge in immigration issue, though i stand to be corrected, you were given admission your application is based on that, wat will you base her application on? And moreover, how many years is your course?
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by Nobody: 9:31am On Dec 13, 2015
Yes you can file for two persons and she will be classify as your dependent and u need to proof finance for both of you. My prob is the duration from our legal union to the application period is very short and the embassy may look it as a way of immigration for my wife. My course is 2 years. I applied for admission and my marital status as single. however i wish to write the school and inform them about update of my status now. How will dis look like. any suggestions please.

well to me, i will suggest you file for yours first, on getting there you can file for your wife, but make it known that you are married, it will be easier i assume if you are there before filing for her, am trying to get the link where i got something on dependant, from ughent, but in the mean time, mail the school, i will share d link when i get it,

Please Nairalanders I applied to Hasselt last admission but was denied cos I didn't legalized my docs..I intend to apply again can anybody advice me on specific docs to be legalized and how much is legalisation per page so as to prepare myself before going to Abuja..Meanwhile since I don't have access to my transcript except school sending to Hasselt which I believe legalisation might not be possible what can I do in this case?

Brother, you will need to legalize your transcript and degree certiticate, also have a copy of your transcript and certificate sent to Uni hasselt in sealed envelop by your university in Nigeria. This copy from school need to be certify by the school or notary. The legalized documents with the application form and other docs you will send by your self to hasselt. Without this legalization and your documents send directly from your university in Naija you can never get admission. If shall be well my brother, just follow instruction and advice here. God being our helper we will meet in Belgium.

Bro thanks for your quick response and prayers.. However, for legalisation I intend to only legalize " School certs only both Waec & Degree" while I notories other docs and send them to Hasselt..hope this will be okay cos I don't want to give chances..meanwhile do you have idea of how much legalization cost per page..Though in previous admission process I've always asked my school to send transcript to Hasselt via email Might change the options tthis time.

legalise all document you want to base your admission on... If its express which i did,
2000 per doc at MOE, 1500 per document at MOFA, 5000 per document at BELGIUM EMBASSY.... I hope you know the important doc to legalise, are you going for undergraduate or masters?

ok, if possible you can get a copy of the transcript and legalise, but legalise your university degree and o level to be on a safer side, so its gonna be
transcript
waec
university degree
certificate of birth, that's wat i can remember now but will get in touch before you go to Abuja for legalisation, please make sure you have all your document with you, you never can tell what MOE will ask for.

I will advice you to write your school and get the requirements as far as legalization is concern and the documents to be send directly by your university in naija to univ hasselt. Post a copy of the requirements here so dat we can also read and guide you accordingly. I hope this will answer the questions of others too

for application online, you do not need legalisation, but upon request for hardcopy all document you want to base your admission on must be legalised including your birth cert, you wouldn't be given docs to legalise though, you will be ask to legalise your degree, in essence all the doc you want to base your application on must b legalised..
