Its no big deal to purchase Bullet proof jeeps for all Former Head of states. When the one they are using gets old and due for replacements. By law, they deserve to be properly protected, and that responsibility falls squarely on the FGN.

But if it is the cash earmarked for Arms purchase that was diverted and used for that purpose, then Dansuki is guilty of misappropriation.

Why didn't he make a request to purchase bullet proof cars for Ex Head of States in the 2015 budget? He is just forming smart, and trying to use that as justification for other illegal purposes he used the arms money for.


The bullet proof jeep, GEJ went with now, when it gets old, it is the responsibility of the FGN to change it for him. But it should be properly appropriated in the budget.

Not that they will take money meant to buy arms and use for another purpose.

I don't know why some people especially, the youth are so daft. Are you not aware that ex-heads of state are entitled to things like this which must be properly appropriated for in the budget. Dasuki is a mess trying to hide. he is a goner like Arsenal against Barcelona.

Bubu got the car yes but never kknew the source....governments makes plans and budget for such. expenses so why did they (gej and co) used. The money that was meant to purchase smtinn else Was he under pressure to share cars to them??

When PMB got his own bullet proof car, did he reject it and we didnt hear about it either, now this probe is bringing up a lot of things, i just hope that the whole thing makes the country better at the end of the day and not another time wasting exercise.

All former heads of state are entitled to state protection for life so buying bullet proof cars for them is a valid security expenditure - however paying for party publicity from security budget, etc is NOT[/size]
