Please don't mind my writing, i'm not a good writer o, please just manage!...... lol.

I got the embassy(Lagos) around 5:30 am for the 6:30 am appointment today. I passed through security then straight to the interview room!. I was among the first 10 people that entered the room.... I did my biometrics then sat down waiting for the VOs to come out, while we all were waiting for the VOs people started coming in and the room was filled up, so they had to usher us to each window so we would be interviewed. Funny thing is that, i was the first person on the queue to be interviewed in Window 6 but the VO never came out o..... I kept saying a prayer that God will not allow any Vo that would denial me come out oo..... I wait tire!!! till they took me to another window... The Vo i was taking to was one beautiful young woman sipping coffee!......

You don't upload passport photograph at all for both Abuja and Lagos embassy..

Just go and take a passport photograph from studio and tell them is for embassy or the size specified on the ds160 and take just two to the embassy on the day of your interview

sure, when she asked what I have been doing since 2009... I didn't talk about my training, youth empowerment or anything. I simply said " I have a national diploma in computer science"... Just talk about your latest qualification! Please!.. then if she ask further then you'd explain. You get ?

Okay but dunno what you want to confirm because someone filled and submitted two or three days ago and his visa was granted today..

Maybe you didn't read the last page well and again is it after you submitted that it asked you to upload your passport , if YES you don't need any upload

Visa approved this morning but I was super vexing for most people who got denied. Like what? A guy who was supposed to go study graphic design was asked what is graphic design and he said "it is all about designing stuffs like bill boards" what? I frowned, he was just in front of me and the VO was very disappointed.......

Please don't fake accent....I have lived and worked in the UK for three years and have a cockney accent, even when I talk to Nigerians I find that they change their accents to talk to me, that's what i was hearing today at the embassy, people using fake accents that made them sound stupid......I was laughing and frowning at the same time. Others were standing there like JSS1 students giving presentations. It's meant to be a conversation people.

For everyone that got denied today, I kept saying "I won't employ these ones if they came to seek employment at my company"

I will prepare my transcript in the form of tips and post for others....I asked two questions on Nairaland [one here and the other on the ask VO thread] because of a previous denial [when I was out of employment]

mayflower, guy you disappoint me if you actually displayed such attitude after I helped you. Now, you find it difficult to respond to your emails.

This is the reason why people on here don't offer to help. I no longer want you to reply my message, if after 4 days of sending you emails. When you needed the help you emailed consecutively pronto.

Haba! Thought I did. Will reply you immediately!

Bros no doubt tension dey, but you can tell who is prepared from who isn't. I will use my transcript to address a few things. One thing I must say is that: US Interview is like a penalty. When you make up your mind on the side you want to play the ball to, don't change your mind when you get to the ball because the keeper shake body one kind....Stick to your preparation..... don't waver. Don't get too carried away listening to other people's interview. Keep calm. Talk, just talk...I'm both a speaker and a writer [there's even a thread on me on Nairaland, I famous small] and so I am paid to speak sometimes...for each question, the VO had to always stop me cos I was just talking like no one's business.

Again, having lived and worked abroad with Oyibo people meant that I knew how to tuck them in. I have had a few work under my leadership. I have a lot to say with my transcript [battery is almost running out] mainly crucial tips and suggestions....could help someone

Firstly I would like to congratulate you sir, but you know hindsight is a funny thing; You gotta understand that people are uniquely different and we are naturally wired to answer questions based on the limit of our understanding. That said, the us-visa interview can be overly overwhelming for a first-timer. Best we can do is pray for those who were delayed and hope they are successful the next time around and assist them with transcripts and tips just like you intend to do and the gurus on here have been doing since 1697. God bless them.
