One has to understand the biases here


1) Some Nigerians are so bigoted against muslims that they cheer whenever scores are killed

2) Some muslims too hate other sects of islam. For instance, we have a sunni muslim here that is happy that shia muslims are being killed

That's why Karl Marx said "religion is the opiate of the masses". Only drug addicts, will behave the way many of this religious folks do.
