5 years us visa.

Oradew is not Nigerian cos Nigerians get 2yrs visas

Must be a Ghanaian! So, certain things will definitely not apply.

no one is angry with u.
So
1. It's either u travel to the US and come back
2. You take d risk and travel and pray fervently that u pass tru the poe smoothly.
But note renewing ur visa will b a big deal because of this lie.
3. You save your self the risk of deportation and give birth to d baby here.
4. Write to the embassy explain yourself and apologize for the lie.

My advice would be a variant of no 1 above -

Immediately travel to the US - i.e. use the visa and come back. So you would have at least "fulfilled all righteousness" in the eye of POE.

Come back, then go back better prepared. This still is not fail proof, but can be explained somewhat, how you changed your mind blah blah.

Caveat - I am in no way in support of the deed, just thinking of the best way out of a potentially grave situation.

Of course, your renewal is still dicey, but at least you should be in a better position.

It has come o! It came in 10 weeks! But they delivered to my house. Am even shipping another box of stuff, I go just change my name to patience grin

Ah! Thank God for that. Shipping another box with this frowning dollar. God is your strength.
My only consolation is the BOA's minimum balance I left.
How's your daughter doing?
Regards.

You couldn't have said it ant better. Just few hours ago I ordered the exact quantity i'd be needing till i make my next trip to the US.
The matter really serious.

Nogen:
Hmmm! Mothers travelling to give birth now, I don't envy you people at all and I don't know how you are going to do it. Banks will stop the use of ATM cards abroad from January. It is going to be crazy and it doesn't look like this present government has a clue on how to manage the economy.

For those of us who have relatives coming back this season , order as many baby foods and diapers as you would need through them, the rest can be shipped down.

Good for you.

P.s I'm not worried about what will happen In the future with the change of intent letter, i don't need it.

I'm more worried about how Nigerians are percieved as dishonest people and are treated poorly everywhere consequently. But hey, I actually don't expect you to understand that!

Nne u don't need to sound like that. U need to understand @bbaby's pov. The scenario is bad and she doosent want u to be deported dasall.
Then with the 2nd paragraph other people may not wanna offer help again. U have to learn to take advice coos despite our different ways of giving. It, it boils down to 'mae them no deport this chic'
Peace

To lend my voice to this matter, I believe a lot of people are taking wrong advice from trusted people. I remember how our US based friends advised us to hide the pregnancy. These same people even pressured us to accept government aid when the baby came; we refused obviously.

I told my colleague about this thread and our experience but he chose to go with an agent who "knows better" and they lied about their pregnancy. Now they have their visa but they have to fast and pray for months just to be allowed entry; not worth the risk if you ask me.

Thank you to everyone who comes here to admit that they hid the fact that they were pregnant during the interview, I'm not judging you but y'all should know even people who Did nothing wrong get delayed for hours at secondary inspection.

Bless your heart o jare. People be feeling entitled cos they were fortunate enough to get good advice or discover this thread in good time. Some of us weren't so fortunate

Hello,

Two years back Myself & My Wife have been granted Multiple B2 Visa with 5 Year validity , we had been to US, she had Baby Birth in US. I visited the consulate after a while in order to get some documents ready for my Baby in order to get the US Passport, when I was there, the Officer has figured out that the reason behind being in US wasn't for pleasure, and it was for my wife to give a birth in US so our baby gets US Citizenship, hence he told me that "we believe that you were not honest your intention to visit US" and your Visa will be revoked, with a red pen he has written "REVOKED" on my Visa. I have couple of questions in this regard:

1. Is it possible for me to get a Visa to US in the future for pleasure?
2. Is it possible for me to get a Visa to US in the future for Business?
3. If I have been selected in the DV Green Card Lottery, will this case effect my chance to get an immigrant visa?
4. Will my wife's Visa be revoked as well?
5. What will be the situation if my Wife travel again to US for another Childbirth?

Appreciate your response

Regards,
If i may ask please, why didnt you get US passport for your child before leaving the US like every one does, just wondering why you had to go there.

no one is angry with u.

But u lied and that's a huge thing.
Change of intent is if u got ur visa for vacation and u weren't asked about being pregnant and den u now wanna go give birth... In that case it's change of intent.

I did notification of intent cos I hade travelled with my visa and when I was going to give birth I had to notify the embassy.

So if u lied when asked, at the poe may b turned back... So u out rightly lied.
That's not all, all u told the VO has been imputed into d system.

So
1. It's either u travel to the US and come back
2. You take d risk and travel and pray fervently that u pass tru the poe smoothly.
But note renewing ur visa will b a big deal because of this lie.
3. You save your self the risk of deportation and give birth to d baby here.

I am in support of 1,2 and 4,we all know that the reason for birthing in the u.s is to secure the future of our kids(blue pali)and quality medical care is but a fraction, hence 3 is not an option, she shouldn't have lied but then again she wasn't aware that it is legal to birth in the u.s.My take on this is to travel and come back if the cash is available and you are not showing already,

Thank you firsttymum, u didn't dissapoint me in your response to my previous and first message on this thread. Don't worry, I'll be like you when I grow up. I read the thread, but really I'm beginning to have fears cos I never knew ppl face difficulties in birthing in the US. That's part of why I still needed to ask questions again, and I will still ask anytime I'm confused. Infact I will direct to you because u are a guru in this.
I have started the visa application process now, and I will let the house know how it goes.

Hello guys,
Compliments of the season n congratulations to all the new mums in the house. I just thought I should share with you guys. I recently renewed my visa with with hubby via drop box. I applied for a b2(no want wahala I went through a lot at Atlanta poe in 2013). I was called for an interview, thank God it was successful(no single document was checked I was asked questions about my job, previous us travel n if am still using the same hospital in ATL ). I still believe the best way for preggy mums is to tell the VO the truth after all it's not a llegal to give birth in US but u must pay all ur bills n take no govt assistance.
Am thinking of using Emory midtown n their price is about 12500usd for cs.This includes prenatal care n delivery, facility fees ,anesthesia, pediatricic n well check baby fee while in d hospital. They said since am joining quite late I can get an additional discount from the prenatal care n delivery bill. please has anyone successfully used Emory midtown hospital?i have read the previous posts but no one has said anything with regards to the final bill/cost.any input is appreciated. Thank you
