Hmmm... There was a gap before quoting hubby's salary cos he doesnt earn... Bizness profit is seasonal.... He kld make as much as 2m in a month t and as low as dt 250k. I didn't know where exactly to peg it.

I have a salary acct and i was adviced to use dt cos of stability. I earn 140k per month and have like a cooperative savings at work which hubby nd i have built to like 4m for birthing purpose (i was given a statement of acct frm work to reflect dt amount) The savings is being deducted right from source so it reflects on my pay slip. Since my last still birth experience, more dn half of my salary goes to dt savings while hubby takes total care of the home.

My budget sheet is estimated at 2.7m for birthing. I dnt intend spending up to dt but i made plans for NICU in case i have to be delivered early.

I filled business as hubby's occupation but like i said earlier, i put 'self' as sponsor on my 160 form

I know why you wasn't issued a visa.
Does your husband earn 250k per month or weekly ??
What was your aim of coming to the U.S ??
The problem is there may not be enough evidence to support your claim or they found something fishy.

The U.S government don't care who you're.
You may be the richest guy in your country and they find out something isn't right, you won't be given a visa, but a poor guy who is straight forward and truthful will get the visa.
They already know who they gonna give visa to even before you show up for the interview.
If there wasnt enough evidence, thought they would ask? My burden of proof pass Phema's own o but no doc was asked

Its time to share e'en though the story is yet to be sweet.

I made up my mind long before now to share my interview transcript whether gud or gud smiley
I had my interview in Abuja.... I applied for b2 medical visa since i'm actually going for medical purpose.

Lemme give a brief history.....
Got married 2012. Became preggy in 2013 and baby died in utero at 38wks. Another preg came, baby didnt make it at 32wks. Is someone wondering where d doctors are when all dis happened? 'trust me u dont wanna know. Some wld be in jail by now in a sane country. Now, dnt wonder how i cope with d losses, i think some angels were deployed from above to kip me. Now another preg is here and i cant afford a third still birth. Fast forward to interview

Transcript goes thus:
Me: Gd afternoon ma'am
VO: Gd afternun with a smile.... So why are u going to Texas
Me: (Assumed she saw medical on my visa type) To have my baby
VO: where do you work
Me: I work for the govt
VO: what do u do there
Me: I explained my roles
VO : How much do you earn
Me: *grabbed my payslip to confirm the kobo kobo dt usually follow d amt*
VO: Vo said no, just tell me without checking
Me: I told her the amount without adding d kobos.
VO: what does ur husband do?
Me: He's a bizness man, runs a printing press
VO: how much does he earn?
Me: (hubby doesn't earn salary so didnt know what to say but 250k jumped in my mouth and i spilled it)
VO: Sorry your application is not successful at dis time u may reapply.

I know i goofed but there has to be a way my people, what do I do?
I'm so worried sick about my health and dt of this baby.

So sorry about the loss of earler pregnancies...

First bolded suggest you were not prepared. You may have appeared to the VO as someone who brought fake documents (that was packaged by an agent), by looking at the payslip, VO will not know you are checking the kobo amount (which is generally irrelevant, by the way).

Second bolded - also lack of preparation. This is a pretty standard question, and a clear answer could have been that "his earnings are seasonal, but an average of blah blah monthly over the past 6 months".

Would suggest you re apply asap. Cheers.

The Emirates one, I haven't done anything with it yet, im at the upper limit of silver cuz we fly biz class for work.

I seriously Considered using it for this waka, but the Israelite journey to Houston (16 hours from Dubai) after 7 hours to Dubai, put me off.

Will use it for personal vacay next year or something.

Let me go back on Klm and try to claim this one, although have no idea when next I will be flying KlM again
But if I aggregate mine, Dh, my mum and my daughter it may amount to something

How many points do you have on Emirates?

Ha...seems you don't know what 1st class travel on A380 is (private suite, shower SPA and all)...Google it. Now am shy telling you how many points I have cause I got it from good old economy not the business class u fly..,like you before, I never knew what these miles were before 2014.

Hmmmm. You can say that again. That A bus is something else. Hubby and I used our Emirates miles to upgrade to business class when I was travelling to have our baby. We also used it to upgrde when I was returning back with the baby. It was a very sweet flight on the A380. Baby and I had a super comfortable flight from san Francisco to lagos and to think we didn't spend a kobo o. The flight attendants took pictures with baby, gave her a teddy bear, baby wash and diapers with wipes, blanket. It was too sweet. They spoilt me with excessive drinks. A pity I don't take alcohol, would have been drunk that day. And that their recycling seat is super to sleep with the duvet. Slept like a log wood. I didn't even know I was on air and had free wifi too. Was just chatting away with with dh. Will fly emirates over and overagain.

In case dem send u shaa just google child mortality rate in naija n compare to Nigeria.. They parents providing for d medical bills haven't disturbed u have they And another thing a lot of parents don't find it easy to conceive immediately n d spend so much time n money getting preg n u want such person not to go to d moon abi America n give her child d best health care Or ok I get it u r trolling us But we've not asked u for money shaa and don't intend to so don't worry about our coins.

Tor. If u want a good health insurance in the US, shebi u will sign up for the good ones. I know there are health insurance for low income earners. If He's a construction worker for Instance and earns $80 per hour and works 8 hours, u can use a health insurance of someone who earns $200,000 a year or more. Please come back to Nigeria and run ur surgery brother. Kubwa general hospital is very good now.

@Friendly u must have convince the vo u can afford the whole process. Like somebody said, u could have said the income fluctuates between A and B.
Again, how was the statement built up and is it a real statement? Truly, the conduct background checks. So if u in anyway forged docx forgerrit.
But If u didn't, reapply. In the space for why were you refused u can use the opportunity to drop a line about how u wanted To travel cos 2 prior fetal deaths in utero. Go with the doctor's reports. Don't lie. Even if u feel the Outcome won't favour u. Relax during the interview
