I get you well, know how it works, you didn't get me, as long as the settlement will be in FX, and it has gotten on NL, it will be matter of a few short weeks...

Seems a lot of monitoring is going on, someway aomehow... Like Cash back got stopped despite it being within the POS limit..

Babe, You are catching the paranoia from that other thread smiley grin

Cash back was understandable, you guys were cheating the banks of the charges, but if I'm not wrong it's only Gtbank that stopped cuz I have done cash back twice in this 3 wks Iv been here

Anyhow make we dey watch....

Cash back my cash back!!!! grin lipsrsealed

Money order too was also stopped...

As for catching paranoia, not at all, I saw a thread where a poster commented that "one kind of transaction" was going to be stopped cos it is/was an oversight on their path & it was indeed stopped....

As for rates manipulation?, naaahh! not buying it.. it is only loopholes I'm referring to...

No ma they are 10months And yes they have started eating..

You can continue with the food like mashed potatoes, mashed beans, cereals and similac advance or you can try Nan or Aptamil . They are equally good as long as your babies are not rejecting them. All the best dear.

Congrats KDK, wishing ur wife God's grace in her birthing journey. Pls I want to ask if it was this month that she went for the interview because of the exchange rate u used. What informed ur decision on that given the current exchange rate or do they have a particular rate acceptable by them at the embassy. My own budget is about $11k plus and it's more than urs in naira cos I used 250 as the exchange rate. Again how long before her interview did u get ur bank statement? Thanks

She went this month and I used statements from 3 weeks ago. They will usually check for the flow of fund into the account. I don't know how I will defend a black market rate if quizzed on it. So I stuck to the official rate as I am officially going to exchange fund irrespective of the 'wonders' these banks are performing. If you or your hubby works in certain companies, they will probably not look at your financial statements as the companies speak for you.

Lol. I know na. I was a 'star' in El Paso. How long did you wait? Why don't you order online. Or ask them at the County (via phone call) if it is possible to have it mailed to you in Dallas.

Ok thanks a lot, my hubby is a hotelier and that's his sole biz for now. He will be sponsoring the trip though I will support with the little savings I have. He says he will get his statement few days before the interview, me I will get mine too. My salary account and that of the savings with like 6 months payslip from my office. Maybe I will also stick to ur own rate cos that 250 makes the budget so outrageous. Didn't know they don't bother abt the current rate. My interview date is 14th of next month and I was relieved to hear ur wife was heavy when she went for hers cos I will be 35wks then shocked

After abt 1hr pls on the queue and singing of christian songs to myself, was ushered to the electronic machine. Scanned visa, clicked away to the questions, scanned my fingers and got print out. Enter line to see border control officer. Was praying not to fall writhe stern looking elderly man looking over his glasses but I finally landed in front of him instead of the young dudes

@Nogen,@modath@bigfido thanks for comments. But really they treated everyone equally there was this newly wedded couple in my front they are from Turkey they requested for something I think a pack bag or so nd the airhostess turned down their request ooo saying she can't give as it's for the airline. ND they were both speaking same language. ND after landin on our way to exit they asked another crew member a guy who turned them down. Mayb thatz y I said they aren't as racist as we think or they've corrected them on how to manage non citizens #thinkingoutloud. undecided

If you check Linda ikeji and this NL recently, you will see a lot of complaints about Turkish, but av noticed it's mostly on the return leg and has got to do with damaged and missing luggage.

I flew them in 2014 to NY and it wasn't a bad experience but the complaints about them nowadays is too much

@KDK, congrats to you and your wife.

But I can't see your detailed poat and budget sheet that everyone is talking about. Abi justwise has removed it. Pls I want to read the post and se the budget sheet.

For those going for visa interview lately,is Dr. Fagbohun' email and cost still valid for interview?

Refund with arik? Hmmnn..its best you just manage to fly back with them cos the refund amt will b less than N30k.

I used them when I went to give birth. On my return, wanted to change to Virgin so I asked for a refund. They said since its voluntary, then they will charge for it and also take out taxes. When I asked how much I wil get,it was like N20 somthng and virgin ticket was like N500k. I just closed my eye and flew back with arik o and swore never to fly them again both local and int'l.

jayjay4lyf:
.
As per arik ehn, i wish i cud use my 60kg wtout goin on the flight cos i cant go back with the flight, i cant stand the service, looking out for a direct flight to lagos frm houston... sm1 said i can ask for a refund for the other leg of my flight if i dont use it, pls explain how o. Mayb i can get a refund frm arik n il need to get frm whichever flight i return with.

Send a mail to arik.refunds@arikair.com or call them on +2348077791310
Am sure they'll cut one outrageous figure out and give a paltry sum
Am still processing mine so don't know what it will eventually be

Hello everyone . Good job everyone is doing God bless you all . I have been following this thread since 2013. Now I am married and just discovered I am pregnant . Been reading all pages . But I think my case is a little perculiar . I have had 2 usa visas , used the first one in 2010 while The recent one is meant to expire July 2016 . But unfortunately since last year I applied I haven't had time to use it . My due date is August 2016
1. can I renew before it expires?
2. Is it a crime not to use ur visa ?
3. Please does any one know about any affordable hospitals in Reno, Nevada.? Been searching but haven't found . Please I will be happy to recieve advices
