Good morning all, with respect to the general visit visa application, I will like to know what else to submit in the absence of payslips... The company I work for does not issue out payslips .

The documents so far listed are not convincing and does not represent strong economic and social ties to guarantee you a visa. Except you have the proof of funds from the other source mentioned, I don't see how it's going to help your application.

It is not enough to submit all these documents without proper planning/budget. Do yourself a favour by doing a budget breakdown for analysis here.

So £600 for flight
Hotel for 5 days (Easter break ) in Edinburgh (£250)
Miscellaneous £400
Total £1,250
Note : Been to UK 11 times in the last 5 years though I was a student then . This will be my first application as a non student . The extra 100K comes from my parents (either dad or mum deposits it at the end of each month)

If I stated in my General Visitor's visa application that I'd be staying in the U.K for 2 weeks & the 6 month visa was granted, what do I do after getting to the U.K and for some unforseen reasons, I need to extend my stay by another 2 weeks (Maybe because of impromptu rescheduling of the short course I went for). Do I have to inform the UKBA office about a change in my plans, or is it allowed since its still withing my visa validity period of 6 months?

This is urgent please, I need a quick response from from the Gurus here.

Have you made payment for the visa application?

@FrontPageLawyer...thank you very much for your input and concern. I was able to correct the issue at d TLS Centre at Churchgate Tower yesterday. All I did was to complain about it before submitting my application. So they called their office at Abuja to delete my GWF frm their system and then register me here. After which I was then able to submit my application.

Please chief, I need a response to my question. I asked people around but everyone keep saying not to worry. I don't want to have a record of overstaying so I don't spoil my chances of obtaining a visa in the future. What do I do?

If you do not have cogent or compelling reasons to stay back in the UK for another two weeks, keep to the period of stay as stated in your application. Misuse may result in you being denied from obtaining visas in future application.

Integrity is KEY. A visa is not a right but privilege, if you get into the consulate's black book, those advising you won't lend you shoulder to cry on. It's your cross, carry it wisely.

You can stay up to 6 months on a visiting visa regardless of length of validity. You don't need to inform the UKBA. Try not to give them too many explanations at the airport though especially if it's your first time. Just stick with the 2 weeks you intended.

Actually that is not true, what will you be doing in the uk for 6 months as a visitor or tourist?

Staying longer than indicated on your application form will cost you the next renewer.

Pay slips indicating tax deductions is fine. You can attached a coloured photocopy.

Thanks for the update. Do i need to attach the expired tax clearance or just the valid one is required?
Please enlighten me on this. Thanks

The MOST important thing is to convince the V.O. that he (or both of you) will return after the visit.
Work on leave letters from job and strong ties to family or managed property.
Then have good finances for both of you.
Then prepare an itinerary of what you will be doing. (Purpose of visit details.)

There is no special way to package it, it's the same process you used during your own application.

Please i work for a company and cant get all the tax reciepts for the 10month period i've worked with them. Is there any other means of showing i pay tax under them other than the tax receipts or can i just present the months i have available to me which is from April to September last year?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by yemcol: 10:42am On Jan 05, 2016
@ frontpagelawyer, justwise and all, pls on d application form where questions was asked "if u have family and relatives,..i said Yes but I don't have their addresses and they do call once in a while with call card. So I only click yes and typed in their names and status, without putting their addresses or call number and I won't be staying with any of them either.(we are not that close)
My issue now is that d third reason for refusing my previous application was becos I did not provide any documentary evidence of the relative. I won't be staying with.(I tire ooo)
Please house how do I correct or put my statement to the ECO about this point in my new application becos I can't be providing what I don't have and I already had an hotel reserved for myself with no intention of visiting any fam.
