No one said anything about Dasuki "going away". Bail is not about "going away". It is about recognizing that everyone has rights and it should be upheld. This is not about Dasuki. It is about the rights of you and me. Who says that one day, someone can just pick me and you up because of suspicion and lock us up indefinitely. Dasuki has not been proven guilty and until he is, his rights must be respected. If the court had denied him bail, it would have been a different story entirely, but he was. I used the jungle justice example because what you said is what people who engage in it say when they set fire to a suspect. "we need to bend the books a little to teach others a lesson". But, that is not how it is done in saner societies.
