Get your skills and qualifications assessed, if positive, fill the EOI and add states you are interested in getting their nominations.

Meanwhile, some states require that you first apply to them directly before filling the EOI. Go to the website of each state to get their requirement especially English score and years of experience.. You will also need to be sure if your occupation is on the sponsored list.

Why not go for 189?

Thank you. What about 189 please?

ACU refunded the whole fund, I vex take am buy Jeep, lol. But thanks to Mrlinobrawn, my friends in Darwin and Melbourne who said I must come to Oz, that it's far better compared to 9ja. So that's y I gave it a 2nd tut, trust me it's really annoying when they reject you a Visa for flimsy excuse, esp when you have the right intention to Study.

Everything about Nursing Studies in Oz is not easy, even the medicals, you pay very high and do a lot of Medical tests, if you no get heart self you fit collapses, when others are doing normal medicals, you will be doing XYZ test (Nurseafrica knows what I mean by this) H-A, H-B, H-C, TB, etc, and comes out negative in all, with all docs and circumstances cleared and intact, as well as heavy fees being paid. One C/O will just carelessly refuse you.

So you can imagine the Anger, I have learnt many things from my application as well as other ppl's own, so anyway I can help ppl to get their positive grant and have a good life in Oz, I will be happy to do it, whether mine scales through or not.

Hi Ericktack203,

Just to be sure I understand your case...

1)You applied to study Nursing, right?

2)You stated in your SOP and provided evidence that your company - A logistics company - will rehire you when you get back to Nigeria? Emphasis on "Logistics company"

If the two statements above are correct (Otherwise, I stand corrected) then the reason you were refused a visa is quite glaring.... because, why will you spend money studying Nursing and then come back to Nigeria to work for a Logistics Company? Obviously doesn't add up

Usually the first notification you will have your Australian visa application has been assigned to a Department of Immigration case officer is an email directly from the case officer.

The Department of Immigration case officer will review your application forms and the evidence you have gathered and assess your eligibility for the visa subclass against the Australian Migration Law, Regulations and Policy.

The Department of Immigration case officer will either grant the visa application or request further information to support the application so they are satisfied it meets Migration Law, Regulations and Policy. For example, if you have applied for a partner visa, spouse visa, de facto visa or prospective marriage visa the case officer may request you to provide more evidence of your relationship to be satisfied your relationship meets the "genuine and continuing" relationship criteria.

Further requests for other types of visas may include health or character checks or clarification on any points the case officer is not sure about or information they may have doubts about in terms of genuineness for example.

If your case officer requests further information they will usually give you a deadline to provide the additional evidence and/or information within 28 days. You should try to do everything in your power to meet this deadline. It is in your best interests to meet the deadline for three reasons, 1) the sooner you get your documents back the sooner the case officer can make a decision on your case and 2) if you miss the deadline the case officer may decide your application without the requested documents which is likely to lead to a visa refusal and 3) the case officer is working on other cases in their caseload and will work on the cases as the documents arrive in date order.

It is usually possible to get a further extension if totally necessary, this should be avoided but we have never had an extension request denied. If you do have an extension request denied, you should request the case officer speak to their team leader, manager, principal migration officer or senior migration officer or put you in touch with them. We would do the same if we were denied the first request for an extension as we would consider this unfair and unreasonable decision making.

You need to allow the case officer time to process your case once they have been allocated the file. They will normally grant it as soon as they can, however, keep in mind the service standard for that type of visa at the Departmental Officer where you have lodged your Australian visa application.

The time taken to process visa applications varies around the world, depending what country the Australian Embassy is located. There are local factors to take into account including the number of staff versus the number of applications lodged, the local public holidays, any sick or personal leave your case officer may take and their working arrangements, for example, some case officers do not work full time and are only in the office part time.

We do not recommend you contact the Department of Immigration with enquiries as this delays the process as they take a lot of time to respond to all of the enquiries in their inbox. The more time they take to do this, takes them away from their more important work of processing applications.

If you believe the case officer is taking far too long to respond, has not acknowledge your response or provsion of information or documents or your application has gone beyond the advertised processing times, then we suggest to contact the case officer with a copy to the Australian Embassy general email address for the relevant visa section.

Remember, until you have that grant notifcation you cannot make any major plans such a flight bookings, quitting jobs or selling houses. If you have any questions about your visa application that has been lodged or is about to be lodged or if you come up with some issues with the Department of Immigration after lodgement, please contact us to see how we can help.

For those enquiring about courses, tuition fees, entry requirements ,etc

you can access this website cricos.education.gov.au

It lists all the government approved institutions ( for international students), you can type in your desired course (using the course search tab) and it will list all institutions offering the course as well as teh individual websites for the institutions where you can get further information.

Hope this helps!

Health Safety and Logistics Administrator. I also studied Health Logistics.

Check this website: www.sandricklogistics.com.ng

It's purely health. It's the same line with nursing, disability and so on.

That right there is the issue ...but you can take it or leave it smiley

A Nurse is a caregiver. According to Wikipedia - Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life.

According to the web-link you provided, the company does this(I'm quoting the statement on the homepage) - Sandrick Health Logistics engage in supply and procurement of health care materials, safety materials, first aid materials, pharmaceutical logistics services, logistics support services, warehouse management, transport management, equipment leasing and general contracts.

Take note of the parts in bold.

Even the job role you stated above says it all. That ain't Nursing.

You'll go study to be a caregiver, but plan to come back to work in supply and procurement? You wont be a nurse on the job 'cos in that job role, you won't be giving injections or setting up IV fluids or wiping butts or assisting Doctors in surgery which is what nurses do among other things. Instead, you'll be procuring and supplying equipment - albeit health equipment, along with other kinds of equipment and doing general contracts(according to your website) Nurses don't do any of that.

It just doesn't add up. They are two different areas of focus.

Again, you can take it and work on it or leave it smiley

Brother,

Here is what you need to do for a start-

Buy and bottle of your favourite drink, preferably non-alcoholic.
Find a comfortable position for study and balance well.
Begin to read up previous pages on this topic.
Jot down grey areas where you need clarification and ask the house when you are done.

I hope this helps.

You seem not to understand.

That Company has healthcare professionals, as well as pharmacists, public health analysts, environmental analysts. You cannot engage in healthcare logistics if you don't have the relevant licencing and personnel.

For example: someone that supplies books from publishers must have knowledge in library and information sciences or related.

Another example is an NGO: which is into health logistics must have healthcare practitioners, you will not even get the licence to operate if you don't.

Someone that supplies diary products must have knowledge in farming.

Health Logistics, the Company has site Nurses, HSE officers and so on, who looks after the welfares of employees and Community services. The company is into healthcare consultations, pharmaceuticals, disability services and so on.

Logistics is vast, Logistics entails movements, planning, provision, supervision, supplies, health, Safety. Without safety, goods and services cannot be delivered, without proper health of staffing, labour cannot be executed, without health experience, health and pharmaceutical services cannot be provided.

Give and example of "income electrix" a West Africa Company that supplies electrical and logistics services to PHCN and Intels, the have many engineers that are into electrical big time.

You supply arms, you must have arms engineers and armoury experts, and you must also have an Armoury to properly store your arsenals.

My emphasis may be a little vast for you, but I hope you understand.
