So sorry. This happened to u. U don't deserve it. May God give u the fortitude to bear the loss and bless u again in double fold in Jesus name.

twingirls:
I had a still birth on 7th Jan. Its such a very sad experiece.
I used Dr Amanjoh of Methodist sugarland, I have no regret whatsoever! The baby has already passed by the time I got to the hospital for delivery. She stopped being just my doctor and is now my sister. D staff of methodist sugarland and dr Amanjoh are smply great, even as I grief for my baby, I reckon with them, I will simply choose dem again.

And Soulcare woman? God bless her for me, even thogh I'm alone in America with no friend and family, they filled d vacum well. She stayed with me all tru my CS, my 1st thought was to run out of the hospital and board d next plane back to Nigeria wt my pregnancy, but she stayed and held my hand tru the c section, her whole family stayed truout d day helping wt my grief, hers is more than a concierge, it's a calling.

To my roommate, you know yourself, I say Thank you.

To God, I bless ur name, cos you have already given me the fortitude to bear the loss, even though I waited 3 years for this journey. I thank you for defending my own life, and for all.

To my husband, God be praised, I appreciate you more.

@Apple19, you may wanna ask your contacts on ground in Dallas to help schedule an appointment with your intended doc and send a copy of that to you. You may also wanna try calling your intended hospital and asking if they can send you a breakdown of self-pay fees via post to your intended place of residence and then your host(s) can scan and email to you.
It would raise eyebrows at POE that you changed your destination and yet have no evidence of a hospital/doc in your new destination. it's different if you had a ticket showing onward travel or family or friends in Dallas that you had earlier disclosed at visa interview.
@mamadele19, the VOs always have a way of typing and acting like they are ignoring you but to be honest, they are listening and watching closely. They don't ask questions that they want answers to and more often than not, they want you to speak. So, re-apply. Change doctors/hospital, get your correspondence together. Re-apply without your child and when your hubby is applying, he can apply with her.
In my opinion, more is better than less. Any question asked at your next interview, answer and pass across documents to back up your answers whether requested for or not.

sry , just wannna clarify something, searched a bit, didn't see it.

someone having a valid 2yr usa visa [tourist], and falls preganant within the 2yrs and wants to hv her baby in the usa.
I think going to have the baby in the usa with the visa is a lil on the gray side, but what could the person do?

note: the person is willing to pay all her bills
2. the person is open to switching her visa to medical tourism visa, if its possible/easy
3. if all fails she is willing to go to travel 5months into the pregnancy, .....how old can a newborn be allowed to fly?

Tourist visa also covers giving birth/medical.

She has no problems whatsoever as long as she has used the visa to travel for the original purpose.

When going for birthing, she need to get Docs correspondence and enough cash to scale through point of entry at the airport.

A newborn can be allowed to fly from 2 weeks, preferrably 4 weeks.

Above all, avoid Chicago point of entry and point of exit.

Good luck

@all, thanks for this advice. My options are

1- Will just book my hotel in Houston, call doctor to schedule appointment, and then declare Houston as my final destination. but then I can tell them I'll be staying to do some shopping in Dallas before my appointments.
2. Get a scanned correspondence from Dallas and present it at the POE and pray they won't raise an eyebrow.
CUZ.....

I went for ante-natal this morning to complain about the mucoid discharge stuff and hardened stomach (but no PAIN, and the thick mucoid stuff is not stained AT ALL!!) So the Doctor checked me and said am 2cm dilated shocked in a nutshell, that my enemy is having preterm labour.!! cry hence, sent me to the labour ward for admission straight.
Getting to the labour ward, I rejected the admission and left. Hubby and I entered commission don't just know what to do. cry
Now since that VE, I've been having some funny stomach ache, and going to toilet like every 10minutes.

Pls mamas, what is my faith?? I know say na the Devil for my village dey work, but I've sent the host of heaven to stop every contractions and premature labour. My ticket is scheduled for next Tuesday, hubby wants to reschedule it to this Friday. But I hope I'll be safe in the flight...pls help O.

On another note, Hubby's visa was approved today, but not in a good mood to type Visa Interview now. PLEASE I NEED HELP O.

@apple19
My very first post on this board.
You do know some people have lost both their babies and lives from complications of pre-term labour. Is the thrill of an American dream really worth that/? Or do you want to endanger the lives of your fellow passengers by having an emergency landing if you go into labour. I know everyone says they are looking out for the betterment of their kids(some is BS ,but story for another day) but is that worth dying in the process? I don't remember seeing how old your baby is but you should consider having a cervical cyclage or so done. YIf you really care about your baby, then you should do what is best for his/er life and the first step is to let him/her live. Cos if you have pre term labor on a plaane, forget it already.
My 2 pence.

babe, I wanted to reply and saw your posts on the health thread...the mucus stuff didnt come off today and u r still moving around. i dont know how safe that is. u also mentioned flustered movement and change in movement. pls go to the hospital. bare ur heart to ur doctor who will confirm the baby is doing great and tell u how safe whatever ideas u are entertaining are. u are past 35...think of how u wished to be 28 some months back when the journey seemed slow. God has brought you this far. Pls don't take any risks. God will perfect all He has started in Jesus name. Amen.

my dear.

First of all, you need to calm down.

2nd of all, you need to go back to the hospital and chill there as the doctor ordered. Let them monitor you and deem you fit to fly.

You can call the airline to change your ticket to something closer, and use wheelchair at the airports.

Just make sure you are at the hosp in case you go into active labour for the sake of your baby. Just as showstopa said, you really dont want to endanger the life of your baby and yourself.

Other babies can be born in US, its not the end of the world. But please please please!! Go back to the hosp.

Nope, not harsh at all, in fact not harsh enough, and I think Showstopa's words were apt, maybe the strong words will help the poster see how irresponsible she is being and do the right thing by prioritizing the health of the Gift God has so graciously given her, if she doesn't even care about her own life, rather than jeopardizing it for America.

This should be a lesson for all mums that want to travel at 36-37 week (including me wink ) especially first-time mum.

Apple19, pls go back to the hospital and have a heart to heart talk we ur doctor.
He should tell you if you can make it to US today (if u can change your flight).
In fact I don't even advice you to fly again from the look of things.
I doubt if your doc will giv you fit to fly sef.

Just relax and have your baby here.
GOD has a better plan for you.

I don't regret having my first 2 sons in Nigeria at all atall.
You can still have other kids I US.

Harsh ke?
One or two lives may be at stake here and you want to be walking on eggshells. As for the cerclage I mentioned that because my besties's bestie lost a baby due to cervical incompetence. I don't know how far gone Ms Apple19 is, was why I suggested that ,but hey I ain't a doctor. I know some people do their American journey at 25weeks, some much later. So if she falls into the earlier category, that would be an option I guess. But back to the issue at hand, she needs to see a doctor and do the needful. People are on this board to assist/help some to detract, however part of that includes giving people a firm shake to see reason and back to their senses when the need arise. This is one.

Hi wonderful people, I will like to know if anyone that has used WHMC (Or any other hospital) in the past made their payments using GTBank's Form A and if the transfer was done at the Official Exchange rate, I am presently considering this option ATM due to unavailability of PTA as my DW is scheduled to travel in about 2 weeks from now. Also, If anyone has any news on where we can get the much sought after PTA that will be very much appreciated, as it is now getting $$ from the Black Market is a No-No.

I will be awaiting your feedbacks smiley.

Thank You
