Pre-School starts at 3yrs, Elementary at 5yrs for Americans. Until then, its daycare (or stay at home), which his LO can attend.
it is not publicly funded by tax payers and is legally allowed on a B-visa because she is not of school-age.

Infact! Daycare cost die! My cousin was one cloud 9 having me around to babysit!

My dear, I did o, mehn they r thieves in that pediatrix group o, "there is God o"... After all the grammar, am to pay $692.60 to them for nothing done.. It is well

For documentation, I wld advice mums n pops to call Amb Stella and tanko early in the morning say 9-11ish called them both and the both picked... But where I fear be say Tanko called $350 + $50 ( over night mail) and Madam Stella $270 + $40 (FedEx), she said she is now in Dallas guess that's the reason for the $40. Notwithstanding these people are making money off of us o with these dollar rate...." There is God o".

Dear House,
Any information on how to choose a good preschool? or who has used any lately? want to enrol my LO for 2 months.

Do you mean preschool in the US?? If yes what I checked when I wanted to enrol my daughter was proximity to the apartment I was staying, teacher to children ration, and I also checked the teachers if they looked happy doing their jobs and the environment in general. But the main thing is to follow your instincts.

What's the logic behind freezing this palm oil?

When it starts to melt won't it be a mess?

I dint freeze nine sha and it was fine

Thanks every one, so grateful for the congratulatory messages....As for my palm oil, I didnt freeze, just put in a Lucozade drink bottle. I think they only remove @ our Airport, cos after scanning my bag here it was only the yams that was removed.
As for the rascality, na my blood e dey sis, and again you need to see my DH with fire fire prayer, his eyes nor see sleep that day ;DD but we bless God, all is well that ends well. My Plan, My Dream and God is Helping Me. All GLory to HIM

Naaa, we are losing money to them. They are still in the status quo, not exactly making more than they made before.

It remains frozen in the airplane cos of the subzero ambient temperature in clouds

Then in obodo oyinbo, heat no too de like 9ja, so it won't really melt completely

No it won't leak out one bit, i put it in a bottle water container. You are lucky den, cos I rmber my first missionary journey dey seized mine at Naija airport. so I had to use the freezing method this time and it scaled through.
The logic is that they said it won't be detected as liquid when it passes through that their scanning machine here in Naija. It was still cold when I got to Houston

Ohhh, u mean in yonder!

Jst look for daycare jare. Again, consider the staff to children ratio. 11mths, DW due again, oh boyeee!

Lol....LadyGuinivere response quoting lagosniv, says enrolling is illegal if u are in B1/B2. DW came back the other day with lab result that she's pregnant. What will I do nah? Am not even smiling with this dollar thingy but we thank God. Thanks.

Okay. But it just crossed my mind now, maybe the illegal enrolling is for kids on B1/B2....my LO is a citizen, so she's not carrying B1/B2.....does that still apply?

No jor!

That's for schooling.

This is daycare. Even citizens cringe at d prospect of paying for daycare. It's not illegal. Infact, d govt needs ya money. It's about $5 to $10 an hour

Yaay! Okay cool. The cheapest I have seen so far in Naples, Florida is $99 dollars per week. But the search was done on the Internet, my DW may have to physically go to the day care and negotiate. So if anyone knows any in another state, I can search for them in Naples. Thanks.

God will do it my darling. I await the good news.
Apple19:
Travelling....
I tried explaining to her that am not in labour, just that my tummy feels hard and my legs still swollen...but her conclusion was PREMATURE LABOUR!...Anyways, I turned to the one who gave her to me, the one who will never make my TESTIMONIES incomplete, the one whose words will never go unfulfilled... HE says I WILL NEVER CAST MY YOUNG!!.

Hubby and I became comfused, my ticket was originally for today, but he never wanted me to go again...so I told him "Even if lo is going to come prematurely, not here...(we lost his friends son on the naming day due to premature delivery...as a result of DOCTOR'S ASSUMPTIONS). Hubby's thoughts were just to save His wife and child...we were really confused!!

We later changed my travel date to the following day!!....my bag wasn't searched and my food stuff including Yam and Palm oil escaped, to the glory of God, I traveled on Lufthansa, ABV-Frankfurt-Dallas!...with NO ITCH AT ALL!. Except for my usual swollen legs which gets me a little uncomfortable on the second leg, and Lufthansa crew were the best....I was upgraded from Premium Economy to BUSSINESS CABIN grin, gave me like 4pillows to raise my legs, 2 to support my back and yours truely Slept like a baby on board...and my legs went down...

POE
I arrived Frankfurt, had to wait almost 2hrs for wheelchair, was not impressed there sha. Fast forward to Dallas, wheelchairs already waiting in a looking queue, was wheeled to a CBP...

CBP: Hello madam, can I have your passport
Me: Hi...gave him with my Landing card
CPB: I can see you're here for delivery
Me: Yes Sir
CBP: sure you have a doctor by now.
Me: Yes I do have a doctor and a midwife, as I'll also love to experience water birth, so am still weighing my options.
CBP: We give the best care in this part of the world, so am sure you'll enjoy the care...so who's Paying for this
Me: My husband, to join me before the birth
Scanned my fingers and took me to secondary inspection... The officer called my name and asked where am going to stay as its dangerous to stay alone at this period, told him an hotelhotel (which we booked overnight), couldn't even print out, but had my phone ready to show them in my mail, and for the baby's arrival I have been talking to a midwife who is getting me a Nanny and I have our conversations here(gave him my email correspondence with a midwife in Rockwell, Dallas.
He then went Inside for like 7minutes, was seriously praying in tongues, because my words were Incoherent, cos I was really confused.

1-I was supposed to go to Houston, have docs appointment, and prolly enough cash to show, but found myself with hotel booking in Dallas, could only produce a midwife's correspondence, and with just 3400$ which is all we could get from BDC on my departure day....in a nutshell, God was really waiting for me here.
Later to Agriculture cos I declared just my dry foods, but they ceased my Yam...my yam wey don enter America already cry but my palm oil escaped. grin

Note:...am yet to see a doctor, LO is kicking fabulously well, i am doing great, but jetlagged I've not even rested well since I came cos I need to shop for me and Lo, trying to rest though.
So much appreciate this forum...in a way, you gave me the gutt to do this... grin waiting patiently for lo's arrival...if she likes let her come tomorrow sef... grin grin

Hello everyone,

I am an old member of this forum, I had my first child in 2014 and shared and learnt a lot from this forum. Just renewed my visa for round 2 and would share my experience later today starting with my history . I also have some questions..a lot has changed in less than two years oh! Chai! I will be back and I hope to be more regular. I read a lot but rarely comment. So help me God.

(For some weird reason I can't see most of my earlier posts, my visa interview, poe experience, doctor and hospital experience that's weird. I'm also certain I didn't join on the date that's shown as that's the actual day I gave birth. Weird)
