I find it hard to love I cant say I know why ,I have a lot of admirers and lovers I ended up putting in the friend zone not because they deserve to be there but because I can't return their love. Now to the topic ,there is this guy ,he is a family friend and I have known him since I was 10,he always come to pick me from school then and takes me to school in the morning.last year he proposed marriage to me(I know he has a thing for me).but because I'm into sports and marriage is not a priority for me and also I find it hard to love ,I don't know how to tell him I cant marry him .I have always called him brother or uncle so how can I start calling him sweetheart or stuffs like dat.He has really helped me so I want to tell him in a way that won't hurt him.MATURED ADVICE |

I don't think you will get the right answers here dear, u know why, Because we don't know the stand of ur family members in this matter, so my candid advice to u is to seek advice from ur parents on what to do and if u need to tell him urself so just go ahead and explain the reasons why it won't work with him. If he is the true uncle u know then he will understand else u are standing on a long thing.. 3 Likes |

Matured advice? OK. I guess u were a kiddo when he was doing these "Things" for you so I really don't blame you for accepting his favours cos you don't have a choice. If you've weighed your options and you've come to the conclusion your career comes first for now then I suggest you go after your dream or else you'll regret it in the future. As for the guy, tell him to wait. Tell him to give you time to go after what you're passionate about "first". If you don't fall inlove with him in the long run then he'll eventually fall outta love with you in a while. Either way, you both wins and nobody gets hurt. 1 Like 1 Share |
