I was in afternoon class yesterday when my biro stopped working, so i decided to go and collect the biro I gave to my friend before the lecture. I stood up and went to the where my friend was sitting meanwhile the lecturer was in at the back of the class receiving call. I thought to my self that I would collect the biro and explain the reason for my standing up to him but before I could do that; he called me and asked me the reason I stood up, I explained to him and he said I should get out of his class. Before I could reach the door he asked me to come back and give him my name and matric no; which I did, then he sent me outside and said I should never come for any of his other lectures or test. He conducted a test for us that same evening which true to his instructions I didn't come for. He would have said I shouldn't come for exams if not for the fact that the course is being taken by two lecturers so he only has 50% on grading us.

So does the punishment fits my crime?

And what steps can I take so that this man won't bully me.

this is what we are saying about our people, you put them in a position of authority and instead of them to serve others they turn themselves to Jagabans and demigods who need to be appeased from time to time, the useless lecturer might just be having a bad day and he decides to make someone pay for it. guy better go appease the m.umu by visiting his office or begging a lecturer close to him or else the guy would just leave a negative mark on your life you may never forget in donkey years.

Go explain to his close colleague (lecturer), that colleague must be someone that like you enough to apologize in your behalf. Do so on time else you are joking with carry over.

I had a similar case while i was in 500L in the university, i just ignored him because i wasn't afraid of carry over reason was that it will only cost me 5k to write in the summer... By my CGPA First class was not reacheable so i didn't see any point for me to beg him. He was the one that got tired and called me i went to his office he fixed a date for the test that i missed, the day came i wrote in his office to my greatest surprise the questions were the same as the one he gave my colleagues i wrote it happily and left.. After exams i had a 'B'. So when u ignore him he will think of what your plans could be and he will definitely call you. Wish u luck!
