Bro if I can get u clearly, is it not adiceable to use starter, grower and finisher for a broiler bird? From what I understand u said is starter feed from 1-5 weeks and finisher from 6weeks on. From a day old what will they be eating?

Day 1-5th week.

U can use starter from day one to the fourth week,
Growers from 5-6th week.
Then finisher from 6-10,11th week.

We going to learn how to produce broiler birds
To market weight.
It is going to be a step by step approach with pictures.
Note :
1. We buying day old chick's.
2. We brooding by ourselves.
3. It is a 9 weeks project.
4. We need to achieve 2.5-3.0kg of weight at 8weeks.
First we prepare the brooding house. 1m*3m housing space. BROODING is caring for young chick's from day 1 to a month. Provision of extra heat with brooding lamp or stoves plus electric bulbs.
We have to wash the brooding house with soap and disinfectant. The brooding house needs to be covered with black cellophane to reduce heat loss. Our aim is to provide enough heat for the survival of the young chick's. This is done 1 week to the arrival of the chick's.
2. Wood shavings should be placed in the brooding house and heat stove n the electric bulbs 8hrs to the arrival of the chick's
3. Place the drinkers and feeders inside the brooding house.
4. Use flat trays as the feeder.
5. The stove and electric bulbs should be on.

it's possible if u sell at 2k per bird but ensure u feed Dem overnight to achieve desired weight of 2.8 or 3kg

So far we have lost 3 birds.
On the first 3 days of d chicks life,
: Put Vatalyte in their water, it is an anti-stress n glucose can also be used.

Hello bro I need your help. My mum have layer birds which are 5 weeks old and each time they look as if they are have fever and they gather in a place and I asked some one of good experience and he told me to give Latosa with milk and from the second day I should give Doxy Gen 20/20 and Embazin forte from the second day till third day. And he said since the birds are acting feverish that I should include Polidine or any of it like but my problem now is I wet to get it from a vet and he didn't have Embazin but replaced with Prococ WDP and the Polidine he also replaced with Viral Mix plus because Polidine and Embazine is not available. He said that if I must use the Prococ + Doxy Gen + Vira mix plus that Latosa will not be Necessary and I told him that I want to use Latosa + Milk and from the second day I will use the Prococ+Doxy Gen+vira mix plus and he said know that in should not use Latosa at all. So I need help from you on what to do my mother not know anything about birds she had lost 5 birds already that is why I want to help prevent more lost of birds thanks I will be waiting for your urgent reply.

DATS TRUE BUT U WILL SPEND ALOT ON FEEDS,EVERY 100 BROILERS WILL CONSUME ATLEAST 13 BAGS OF FEEDS TO ATTAIN THAT 2-3 KG

I hope you are not planning to sell to the market women? They won't buy higher than 900, you can only sell 2k if you decide to sell in the market by yourself now imagine the number of months you will spend in the market b4 exhausting 1500 birds

All the 1500 bird can't be uniformed expect 2.5kg mostly it only few that will attain 3kg I am talking from experience I don't rear my birds more than 6weeks

Thanks bro I have not used Latosa or Gumboro! Can both be uses together? I only used Doxy gen 20/20 + proccoc + viral mix together. I was told that the Birds must be healthy before applying Latosa on them .
