I will advise you read the book ' Why you act the way you do' by Tim LaHaye. It will help you understand your spouse and control your anger towards your loved ones and in general. God will comfort your wife and give her a forgiving spirit to totally forgive you. There is nothing new under the sun so don't give yourself too much pressure time will heal things.

It hasn't gotten beyond control. Keep your remorse attitude. Time will heal the wound.
You also need to go extra mile at making her happy/smile. Do not be too desperate for her forgiveness
