To me, this is not surprising at all. In fact, I expected this to have come from OBJ long before now. The reason being that PMB has rightly decided not to allow the so called influential Nigerians tele-guide him.

Expect Tinubu, Atiku and a few others to tow similar path to OBJ in the coming months. It's what they will resort to once they're not consulted before major policies/decisions are taken by the government of the day.

Clear evidence that the promised CHANGE is an ORIGINAL FAKE! cheesy

Btw: What justification do you have for the borrowing when we are getting back the "looted fund" from PDP and could likewise sell off the presidential jets to recoup money to fund the budget ?

Discerning minds already see that there is provision of N350bn (?) revenue from looted fund in the budget. It's first time in our history that a govt has included recovery from looted money in our budget.

Sure, the president has no justification for still keeping those presidential jets. Anything more than four or five jets is a no-no for me.

The chnage is real and original. It's a change from impunity to civility/probity/accountability. A change from stealing is not corruption to one that punishes looters of our common wealth. A change from wastage to effective and efficient management of our resources.

Good point!

We need you and your team to instigate a public outcry to the presidency to quickly and urgently dispose the presidential jets, block the extravagance in the proposed 2016 budget, become more transparency as promised, make the fight about getting back the looted fund more open without any acrimony and prejudice, and see Nigerians supporting the change under hardship condition without complaining.

Truth must be told that Apc and Buhari reversed whatever gain and confidence our nation gained since independence. Now that lai Mohammed is a mod on nairaland and banning people to infinity and beyond shows how gloomy the next four years looks.

I don't have more reasons to engage in the public outcry than you do. I belong to no party even though I support PMB and believe in APC than PDP.

That the presidency still has those 10 or 11 jets without public outcry already is a shame. It's a result of absence of credible opposition. PDP is unfortunately not qualified to condemn the presidency on this issue because while they held sway, they saw nothing wrong in it and even increased the fleet to the current abysmal number. Any crying from PDP will be tightly termed as wailing.
Where is KOWA, APGA and the rest?

Contrary to you, am a card carrying member of APC, a supporter of a united prosperous Nigeria but not this abysmal display of poor economic management & propaganda being displayed by this current administration.

50% budget deficit looming for Nigeria, $2 billion dollars borrowed from Dubai Islamic bank, $3.5 billion about to be borrowed from world bank, northern governors looking to borrow more from Saudi Islamic bank.

The worst of all is that the borrowing is being used to pursue welfare packages & some senseless political promises.
Maintaining 11 presidential jets & going to borrow from a country that has none to expend N3 billion of it maintaining the planes.
Nigerians need to call this govt to order.

The moment you try to call this govt to order; you will be termed a Wailer by those who sing and clap for a govt that chooses which court orders to obey and the one not to obey.

This senseless and foolish Ebola Ewu from Ota should bury his head in shame. First of, you were at the forefront of the whole mess and helped sell that scam to the masses. Now you wanna pretend to speak out?

What's even more annoying is that the useless Ebola Ewu from Ota was the one that introduced and institutionalized corruption, right from the 70s when he and this same Daura Dullardo colluded to loot us off over $2.8billion.

He came back as a civilian president and we thought he came to right all his wrongs but even did worse..

Ebola Ewu from Ota, we do not need all these your useless statements because in all, you try to appear like a saint when you're worst of than a devil.

I am tempted to reply you on the second page which is against my rule. But I'll do this for your personal gain.
From your write up it seems you choose to read and hear from your fellow oppositions without recourse to the mission intent of the vision bearer.
It is commosensical that you can't know more than the vision bearer no matter your perception, you can only watch and make your input by corrections in the course of implementation.
I won't want to go into detail of the govt positions on borrowing but in all it is for the general good of the people.

ZUBY77:

And you are privy to this invisible super economic solutions?
What is so secretive about borrowing money to fund leisure programs? What business does a country with many private jets have borrowing money from those who don't have even one?

Do you people ever sleep without GEJ hanging on your lips? At least GEJ had money, he was lucky to be there when oil was up. Not that I am his fan, but the truth remains the truth.

Now that oil is down, is it not important that we auction off at least half of our jets instead if borrowing money to maintain them?

I don't intend to make any comment before as all i could see is that the thread is packed up with the gathering of misinformed wailers who out of their sheared hypocrisy and crass ignorance will hail OBJ when he bare his thoughts as an individual who is definitely not privy to the Buhari's economic solutions, and denigrate the same OBJ by calling him 'old fool' when he speaks up against their Zero hero GEJ.

O boy walahi you no well!! grin WTF!!! Which kain picture be that ? grin don't you know NL is PG18. Una no go kee pesin for this place o grin

Ok @topic, who told you Obj is not privy to buhary's economic solution? One thing you should know is that the old fool Obj knows Buhari is clueless and incompitent and was only fit to be a soldier or a Mallam, did Obj not present to him volumes of books at the begining of this administration on the way forward if he Buhari must succeed? Obj like every other nigerian knows that 8months into this administration, there is no clear cut policy statement or direction from this administration. All we hear is media propaganda. Have you seen the 2016 budget of yams? Hahaha... Your chief Navigator is planning something cynical oo.

With nearly 2 Billion Naira for himself alone in one year, is he really borrowing for the general good or for himself?
How much is the budget of your entire community in 2016?

I think Nigeria should apply for loan from Buhari himself if he succeeded in bribing the law makers to approve the budget because I don't see what one man should do with 2 billion Naira in one year when I am sure i wont spend more than one million for foods in 2016.

If it was ok for the Ineffectual Buffoon to borrow during surplus revenue with NOTHING to show for it, is Buhari expected to perform magic without borrowing during "recession" with far less income?

Lastly, losers in the last election should permanently register it in their brain that the Ineffectual Buffoon was NEVER an option in the last election. He will NEVER EVER be an option in any future presidential election in Nigeria. He has been consigned to sorry past history of the country. So, no amount of crying, wailing and idiotic display will bring him back.

Excellent Post. Fully endorsed.
